Who said we should have another lockdown. We dont have the resources to enforce it anyway. Besides, the country can ill afford one now.
If I was the minister for health I'd stop this silly reporting which scares the few people who still care. Unless you isolate yourself from the world like Island states do like Australia and NZ and Taiwan, there is no way you can control it. No one can. I say let the chips fall where they may and live with it. 2% mortality rate isnt all that bad. The virus kills mainly old people. In the west they are a buden on the public purse and policy makers are shedding no tears over it aside from enjoying the sensationalism it offers. And In third world countries death comes as a relief to most elderly people. In three or four year time the virus will disappear on its own like many pandemics have throughout history. To me it looks like the survival of the fittest is what's at play. Very natural.
The mortality rate is actually closer to 1% in Lebanon.
Fatally-ill people whose death is being accelerated are being considered "Covid deaths", which is BS if you ask me.
Trump was right when he called the whole thing a hoax.
The media jumped all over him when he wanted to reopen the economy, but all countries are now following in his footsteps, having realized that lockdown damage is worse than the virus.
Now that hospitals have become better prepared to treat coronavirus patients, it's time we switched off coronavirus panic mode.
