ولفتت الوزارة في تقريرها، إلى تسجيل "4 حالات وفاة، وبذلك يصبح العدد الإجمالي للوفيات 8035".

Its death rate was 0.15 per cent compared with the 0.03 per cent for the AZ jab, which under-40s no longer get.

It was 1.32 per cent for people who have not been jabbed.

Less impressive on hospitalisations were Russia’s Sputnik jab, which saw 2.24 per cent end up on a ward or in ICU, and China’s Sinopharm with a rate of 6.94 per cent.


For the unvaccinated, the rate was 13.22 per cent.

The Bahraini researchers, who worked with New York’s Columbia University, said: “All four vaccines decreased the risk of coronavirus infections, hospitalisations, ICU admissions and deaths when compared to unvaccinated individuals.”





Dr Simon Clarke, a professor of cellular microbiology at the University of Reading, said: “This study shows people in the UK can be confident they’re getting the best vaccines available. AstraZeneca and Pfizer provide good protection.”

Meanwhile, another 38,046 Covid cases were confirmed in the UK yesterday. It is two per cent up on last Friday.


The rise was driven by a near-doubling of infections in Scotland, where schools have reopened. There were 100 deaths — down 12 per cent in a week.

Some 200,000 were jabbed on Thursday, meaning 78 per cent of Brits are double-jabbed.

Ten per cent have had one.

All those studies are BS in my opinion.
What matters is actual numbers on the ground.

Nearly 60% of hospitalized patients in Israel are fully vaccinated.

That doesn't seem to back their study that only 1.99% of those who had the Pfizer injection have been admitted to hospital.

The vaccines' efficiency is not as impressive as pharma companies like to claim.
But did you think they were gonna say otherwise?

How can we talk of vaccine efficacy when the number of cases is similar to what it was in January and Februrary, at the peak of the third wave? The death rate is also picking up and matches numbers recorded before the vaccination campaign. Vaccine efficacy my a$$.

The study posted by SoFp1 is old and no longer relevant. The 1.99% is bullshit.

Anyway, my initial argument was that the vaccines aren't as effective as scientists originally claimed. The new variant is still new and how effective the vaccine is against it remains to be known, but it's certainly nowhere above 75%.

But you're putting words in my mouth like usual to dismiss my opinion.

And once again my investment in that argument was about showing you that vaccines are still effective against covid since you started the whole thing with misrepresenting israeli data to suggested that vaccinated people go to the hospital more than non vaccinated which you now know (at least i hope you do) is complete and total bullshit.
