They said there was a sharp increase in cases in recent weeks, thus the decision to completely lockdown 111 towns and villages until October 12. How is everyone doing?

The lockdown makes no sense...It does not make any sense to close zalka while jal el dib is totally open.....

what is surprising is that tripoli is not closed for example...is there no cases there?

This it what happens when you listen to the “medical experts.”

Medical “experts” these days tend to be weak and timid figures (who got beat up in high-school) with no backbone. They see and experience life strictly through the physical sciences, and thus are severely lacking in the active spirit of mankind.

Naturally, they’re solution to corona is always a massive lockdown, given that their always tapping into their weak and beta state. This is why strong and powerful leaders (like Trump) avoid such lockdowns, and focus instead on lifting the spirit of his people, as that is the only way you can truly heal a nation!

Normally after how many days would we be able to see if the lockdown has an effect on the number of new cases?

I think it is a good step, instead of a national lockdown do localized ones and zoning. Yes, it's faulty because our MOPH has been incompetent from the beginning when it came to health strategies (once we locked down the first time they didn't come up with a strategy to not go through it again). Also, cases are being assigned depending on nufus not resident which is ridiculous to say at least, so if someone lives in Beirut but his nufus is in Zahle they count it as Zahle.

Plus only 45-50% of the population is abiding by social distancing and mask wearing, which is a very low percentage.

That's the problem with people, they don't follow the rules. it's just simple, wear a mask and follow social distancing
