Today the President is failing his constitutional duties by supporting one person and party
In these exceptional circumstances he should approved PM Diab Government and let parliament assume his responsibility

I don't think in practice if the president resigns it will be practical, it will just put a void.
Also if we forget that the president is GMA, the ones who should resign are the executive power (because they work on the ground and they failed)
and the parliament, because they're representative of the people and people are asking them to go.

After the elections the deputies can then ask for the president to resign.

He only listen 👂 to Bassil

I respect your point of view
This could work if the President sign and form a government
And new elections in one year
    No problem he stay
But personally I lost confidence in him

The President proved himself unfit unable to lead the country in the current crisis
    He's incapable and not caring
80 days the people are on streets and he addressed them twice
both times managed to make things even worse.

The government formation is not going anywhere and he's asleep
He failed to play his 'Strong President' role and put pressure where pressure is required
    He's not transparent
He lied promising the people a government by New Year and DID NOTHING to deliver his promise
He sees all parties having arguments delaying the formation, he did not bother to join and meet all of them and try to find a solution out of this problem we're in especially that the country is going bankrupt
His policies and agenda only caters for a small percentage of the Lebanese population, his policies revolve around making sure both Bassil and Hezbollah are happy -and that's it-
He desecrated the presidency and made it a joke
His team desecrated the ministry of defense and turned it to a joke
His team desecrated the ministry of justice and the justice system altogether and turned it to a joke
His team desecrated our laws, our constitutions
He turned the whole country into a joke

Do FPMers accept the performance (or non-performance) of this president ?
do you accept that he's never there while the presidency suffers the worst mockery it ever faced to date ?

FPMers should be the first to ask the President to resign and leave.
This is his last shot to clear his name and prove to the people that he does care about the wellbeing of the country
There is absolutely no hope for a better country while he sticks to his chair
HE NEEDS to make history by resigning and leaving political life and quickly.

I voted Parliament should dissolve and President resigning straight after

He needs to start playing his role,
oversight the creation of a fair and balanced independent government that sets up for new elections
After the new Parliament is elected, he resigns and clears his name.

This is the only way Aoun can clear his name.

    As you said bro
I myself a few weeks ago I was not with his resignation
I was with Government and Bassil
But it was the President who mainly blocked Diab when he asked Berry for a political government
Berry jumped to techno politics and Harriri
All that for Bassil who want 7 ministers
The last joke Bassil on Tuesday will repeat his lies
He doesn’t want to be part of Government And Attack Riad Salame which he agreed to nominate 2 years ago

I wish PMA and FPM leave politics all together and give their place to people from the harak. All MPs and ministers. This people doesn't deserve to be fought for. Let them deal with the other politicians and let's see what they can achieve. This people deserves to be ruled by the corrupt.
