Based on my personal experience, yes! I voted Eddy Maalouf (not Nahas, not even Canaan who was on the same list) based on the discussions here :)

PS: my sister, who has never checked the forum, was arguing with me about something, she googled to prove her point and was reading and saying oh this is interesting, and when I checked it was the oroom :)

    Great analytics!

I agree with other members as I think it has affected some people, whether to vote/not vote, or in their choice of preferential votes.

Also, not a specialist, but wouldn't that number be inflated by people accessing the site from multiple locations/devices? For instance, I access it from my phone, home and workplace. I also access it when in Lebanon. I think that counts at least as 4... wouldn't it?

You are sitting on a gold mine. Don't mention things like money to GB . He's more likely to push you out the door , take the credit and fill his coffers. Most posts are about him anyway.

I also noticed that any election lb topic search brings the oroom on the first line or at least the first page on Google.

I am not sure how Google calculates this.

However, on average, each user have 2.31 session. Bass I don't know if this is daily, weekly, monthly or throughout the whole period

It often happens actually, you search for something and click the first link without paying much attention and you end up here :)

I was rather referring to the number of visitors YTD. Anyway, isn't google analytics a comprehensive service and not necessarily only tracking users that access the site through their engine?

Also, you got me. I'm an internet noob. Here's footage of me surfing the web:

I think that to some extent, precisely internally among FPM voters, there could have been some affect in the sense that spacecreature talked about. But Seeing the debates and endless discussions with non-FPMers, it is obvious that none of them even came close to changing his mind regarding who they'd vote for.
Take for example manifesto, he eventually decided not to vote at all. Although he is totally free to do as he sees fit, i couldn't understand his choice to be honest.
That being said, I would definitely say that the Oroom was one of the major sources of news, analysis and updates for jounos/observers/partisans/activists and what not.

Btw, mabrouk Jo and thank you Oroom!
