How does the Proportional system work when a seat is dedicated only for 1 Candidate? So in that case the Shiaa seat is based on the majoritarian system.

No its a full proportional law. We have 8 seats here lets say one list take 60% of the votes which equal 5 seats and the second with 40% 3 seats.
Here comes the preferentional votes to play. The first 5 in the first list will be picked, disregarding the sects. If the shia candidate in among the first 5 , he will be part of the winners from the first, if no the shia from the second is the winner even if the shia from the first got more preferred votes than the shia from the second list. Beauty of proportional system.

Does this apply in multiple districts zones? For Jbeil-Keserwan, are we talking about the first 5 in keserwan in that case, or the first 2 in Jbeil ?

The example i gave apply to one district. For multiple district they need to abide to number of seats allocated to each caza as well. It is complicated as hell

No because each kaza will be considered as a sect
Same complication for the metn district

    4 sects in metn

While you have 4 Kaza in north

There is an example live on lbc website

    They took metn as example

You apply the same thing on kesserwen jbeil

    5 keserwen
    2 jbeil Maronite
    1 jbeil Shia

    And so on

No you vote a list and you tick your preferred candidate on that list - just one

With that preferred vote they can rank the candidates on each list at the end of the counting

The shii in jbeil , win directly with the most voted list , there s only two maronite seats . On goes to one list the second to the other that passes the passing proportional rate . ( it s the problem now 10,15, or 20 per list)
Now which candidate will be chosen
Now the preferential vote make the candidate who worked most with his base be the 1st and get most preferable votes in his list

What if FPM decide to run with one maronite candidate only again to avoid the clash between its partisans?

who said that? What if FPM leadership wisely decides to avoid "the battaikh ykassir ba3do" thing and run with only the official party candidate who won the internal elections?

Internal bickering within the party should be totally forbidden in general elections!!!

Halla2 due to Gebran being the head of FPM he will probably place his cronies as candidates.
Btw I support FPM but not Gebran nor his cronies.
