    A good Lebanese
The Lebanese should start to understand not everything is about money. They should stop the 'showing off' la2ano seriously no one cares aslan. If you spend 20K or 50K or 100K on a wedding the next day they forget it. The Lebanese have a mindset that moves on quickly. Yalla next wedding!
Second, you are just taking it out of your pocket not theirs. That money you could be placing towards a deposit on an apartment, some small business, money in the bank, etc.

    That’s not the matter bro
A lot of rich Lebanese are making their weddings outside
    Money is leaving the country
So when a person like Saab who could have went to Monaco or New York do it in Beirut spending 1 million dollars
I say it is a good example

The thing is weddings in Lebanon are becoming more and more about show off and jalja2a that costs a fortune. Actually a lot of middle class Lebanese are preferring to have their weddings abroad because it is more simple, authentic and cheaper.

Yes i agree with ELIE Saab to make big events in Lebanon. My dad and mom wedding in 1958 were on three days congratulations and one week festivities. Some people stay do it in Lebanon from Friday till Sunday night after the wedding in church.

    Agree.
It is due to the cost nothing else aslan if they are getting married.
I came to Lebanon and got married and I couldn't believe the cost of the marriage. simply outrageous for a country that still doesn't have electricity nor running water, roads, laws, etc.

The little boy in the picture (congrats by the way) inherited all this money. Elie Saab the father worked his way up from the bottom and I respect that 100%. You seeing this as some big event because he stayed in Lebanon and had his wedding is wrong. Why would he care aslan??? 3ando millions as you said. mch fer2ane ma3o chi ya man.
