no habibi it is not the same
old goddesses were whorshiped... mary is not whorshiped among Christians.. she is venerated yes
The line between worship and veneration is very thin
In practice she is almost worshipped
Most Christians see her as the equal of God because he loved her more than anything else

    Miracle at Cana
2 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there;2 and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus *said to Him, “They have no wine.” 4 And Jesus *said to her, “Woman, [a]what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother *said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” 6 Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing [b]twenty or thirty gallons each. 7 Jesus *said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He *said to them, “Draw someout now and take it to the [c]headwaiter.” So they took it to him. 9 When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter *called the bridegroom, 10 and *said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the peoplehave [d]drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.” 11 This beginning of His [e]signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

Jesus first miracle happened at her demand he didn’t want to do it but he obeyed her

I have a question does any Saint is like her
    Is any angel like her
Why she appeared to billions of people in different shrine and not Jesus
Why all Marian shrines are visited
She is not God but God love for her made her unique
    His equal in practice
More people pray to her than to God
    Anyway not your subject
She replaced the mother goddess in the imagination of people

lvv with all due respect but you are a bit wrong in this

mary is unique but she is not equal to god not even close

theres no mention in the new testament or even the prophecies in the old testament about this

the reason people are praying to mary more than god is that people are being misled

god made them special not the other way around

only god should be the center of christian prayers

miracles that happen in the name of saints and mary happen by god through them

god created the universe according to christian theology and created human beings

As you said bro @VH Redux people pray more to her
What does that mean perhaps that will help

The world today is in desperate need of genuine maternal love. Not only are countless children deprived of it through the tragedy of family breakdown, but all of us to some degree are flawed for lack of it. Fortunately however, the love of the natural mother of Jesus is available to all without exception. Mary is the Mother of Jesus and, by God's will, the Mother of us all.

    Mary's role

Many today are badly misinformed about the role of Mary in God's plan of salvation. They do not know that Mary was prophetically foreshadowed in God's promise of victory over the serpent who tempted our first parents to fall into sin. [1]

For Mary to fulfill her role as the Virgin Mother of Jesus, God chose her to be the only creature who from the first moment of her being was filled with grace and, by reason of that fact, was free from original sin. Her sinless coming into existence was indeed a conception that had to be immaculate. This was solemnly confirmed by the Church in 1854.

The declaration of the Immaculate Conception as dogma in 1854 was not a sudden and unexpected event. The Church declared as dogma what the people of God believed about Mary from the beginning of Christianity (sensus fidei). [2] Reason itself insists that it is not only proper but even necessary that the one chosen from all eternity to be the Mother of Jesus, be a fit vessel, a pure and perfect channel, through which the Saviour of Humankind should enter the world. To accomplish this, God assured

Veneration. The Catholic faith states, as a dogma, that Mary was assumed into heaven and is with Jesus Christ, her divine son. Mary should be called Queen, not only because of her Divine Motherhood of Jesus Christ, but also because God has willed her to have an exceptional role in the work of eternal salvation.

The mother of Christ has taken various forms throughout the centuries—among them are the Blessed Virgin, the Queen of Heaven, the Madonna, and the spiritual mother of all the faithful. Yet despite her high enthronement in the Catholic Church, Mary, as both chaste goddess and earth mother, has her origins in pre-Christian religions, of which the chief deities were female. In this masterly exploration of the cult of Mary, Geoffrey Ashe examines ancinet myths, theology, history, literature, and feminine spirituality to throw new light on the role of Mary in today's Church. Tracing the cult from its origins to the present day with the resubordination of Mary to Christ, this remarkable book also illuminates the spiritual battle of the sexes, a conflict that remains unresolved to this day. true but some priests and majdugorje dogma are promoting that mary will stop ww3 and will establish world peace

that is simply not true and nowhere in the new testament something like that is written

that is the role of jesus according to the bible
