At the very least, it will give the electorate the opportunity to hold their representatives accountable based on cold, hard numbers. How else would you expect people to abandon their corrupt leaders? By blocking roads and singing "hela ho"?

Similar to the international tribunal and the effect on the electorate of HA?

I got it, you are funny.
Answer this question. How will anyone or any company have access to accounts, if one of the mafia heads decide not to deliver them.
Check mate, the mafia wins. So let's not even try the audit, blocking roads and "hela ho" are much more productive.

You are correct on one of them.
The mafia wins. One douche bag guy with a record of corruption files could not be summoned after he took refuge with Sleiman franjyeh. The whole govt could not do anything.

Blocking roads is wrong, who told you I support it? It is driven mainly by the same mafia state anyhow.

Hopefully, the results are not similar. Even Hariris, geageais were not happy with such tribunal. You want HA electorate to take such verdict as true

The mafia heads do not want to grant access. They'll only give up the information if they are cornered into it (this can be done through a combination of caretaker government action, judiciary, popular pressure, IMF pressure, ects.)

Nobody said it was easy, of course.

The international tribunal was a joke from the beginning and everyone knew it. The two are not even remotely comparable.

Go ahead, you have my support, wallahi je te jure.
But be nice with salemeh, and especially Berri in prison as they are getting old.
Hariri can use some community work. He likes to be active and wander around.

On a serious note, this whole revolution is so short sighted to the point of being pathologically dumb (The real one, not the undercover FM and LF)

They think that the way to go is winning elections, wlek this is where the mafiosi want to go! They own the election game, they've been perfecting it for the past 30 years! You think combined the mafia will dip below 60% of MPs??? Get real!!!

Think of other means for God's sake. For example an independent and fully empowered investigative commission and court named directly by them! Make the investigation fully public, you will have most of Lebanon behind you. The forensic audit is another way. Bass 3abath, hela hos and stupid moves is what it's all about while the mafia uses and abuses them.

It's interesting that you find what I wrote amusing. Did you also find it hilarious when the so-called "thawra" proposed to wipe out "kellon ya3ne kellon", either with no clear plan or something out of a fairy tale? Or when Charbel Nahhas talks about "al tasleem el selmiy lil sulta"?

Because what we're proposing is way, way more attainable.

One last word, the Lebanese somehow look abroad for any support that will get them out of this shit. Wlek the IMF, France and other big countries are not only supporting the forensic audit but have it as a pre-condition for any rescue package! Why squander this opportunity????

Yes you are quite a character, especially when you copy and paste your own tweets.

Not sure what that has to do with anything, but I will clarify for the record that there is an element of self-deprecating, tongue-in-cheek humor when I post my own tweets.

Sometimes I'm lazy and this way is quicker. Sue me (but don't expect to win because Gebran Bassil owns the judiciary and I'll just be given a nice backrub, a coffee and set free).

You asked what I find amusing. Few things.
Quoting your own tweets, FPMers, wiam wahab (I am sure he is your main support for the audit), joseph abou Fadel.
To be honest now that you asked, not much fun in the whole lebanese scene. Quite facetious and unpleasant.

So befham mennak Adwan is 100% behind the forensic audit since he tried to pionneer it himself.
Khalas khayyeh, we will all recognize his ground breaking role in a nice commemorative plate on nahr el kalb right next to ramses', mesh meshkleh if parliamentary commission is very different from 3rd party forensic audit. Baddna nekol 3enab, mesh fer2a ma3na el natour.
