I hope this event puts a lid on all the nay-sayers. FPM is in great shape and capable hands.

The funniest thing about all of this is that FPM needs to make an electoral event that costs tens of thousand of dollars in order to reach 20 mps. Hassan nasrallah goes live on tv with a home camera and a bilboard from librairie antoine behind him with 2 or 3 words written on it and people will flood in masses to go vote for his lists lol.

Why does everything FPM do look very tacky and "sha3beh"?

Have you ever watched OTV? It's a joke.
Why? it was great actually the best among all events. You have to take into consideration that the real battle only exist in the christian street thats why you saw such events only from FPM kataeb and LF. Plus the rest of the parties ( minus FM and hizb/amal ) dont have a mass support all over lebanon in order to be able to make a similar events .

    Great event
    Bassil was very great
    Great Organization
By the sheer numbers a block of 25 is obvious
    Keserwan has the largest participation
Bassil spoke about Keserwan a lot as much as North ; he defended GCR as not being Gharib
GCR was greatly applauded , all the people were on fire when he moved on the stage
We will have 25 deputies with your allies
    Chapeau FPM Chapeau Bassil

A lot of positives, as discussed above. I'm proud of the fact that we have many candidates who are Sunnis and Shiites, including a female Shiite from Baalback. It's also great to see an Alawite candidate in Akkar. However, there are a few negatives as outlined below:

The nomination of 3 Maronite candidates in Baabda does not makes sense. The FPM/HA/Amal alliance can at most elect 4 MPs. If that happens, it will be 2 FPM, 1 HA and 1 Amal. We simply don't have the numbers to elect all 3 FPM candidates. If the FPM/HA/Amal alliance elects 3 MPs, it will either be 2 FPM / 1 HA or 1 FPM / 1 HA / 1 Amal. By nominating 3 Maronite candidates instead of 2, we are significantly harming our chances of electing 2 FPM MPs and instead helping Amal to elect an MP. This really really troubles me. Unless we have a good explanation, one of our 3 candidates must withdraw.

It's disappointing that we only have 3 female candidates and no C&R candidates in Western Bekaa, Tripoli/Minye/Donniyye and Zahrani/Sour. Why not? Who are the FPM supporters going to vote for in these regions? Also, why not include Elie Ferzli in our list of C&R candidates. He has clearly indicated that he wants to be part of the C&R block and an ally to the FPM and the President.

the contents of his speeches are awesome!
They always are, he always makes sure to raise all the points you could think of relative to a subject, he just needs in my opinion to work on the form, make it more natural with a better flow

Fpm has always been a sha3beh movement, papaziyet and showing iff are the specialty of the aristocracy political clans. Nothing new here.

Otv being a joke is a completly different thing tho :D
