Freedom for Georges Ibrahim Abdallah | The Struggle Goes On
He's a criminal and personally responsible for the murder of 2 diplomats... But anyway he has been eligible for release since 1999, he's not helping his own case by sticking to his cause and repeating every single time the same kind of speech that landed him in jail to begin with

his action was caused by the israeli invasion to lebanon and its crimes against lebanese civilians ..
he acted against israeli and american interest , high officials in their armies..legittimate target in case of war .
he is a prisoner of war ...and his prison time is over..its time that he back home

He literally shot two people on French soil and tried to murder another... And anyway as I previously mentioned he has been eligible for release since 1999 but has shown absolutely no remorse for his crimes and every time there's an appeal he says the same thing and the united states sends a request against his release which France accepts since - yup you guessed it - he has shown no remorse!

he didnt attack 2 french innocent civilians to start with ..as u portray it as he commit a common crime..
its an act of war .

He was arrested in 1984 and sentenced to life in prison in 1987 for the 1982 murder of Lieutenant Colonel Charles R. Ray, who was an assistant US military attaché and murder of Israeli diplomat Yaakov Bar-Simantov outside his home in Paris on 3 April 1982, as well as involvement in the attempted assassination of former American consul in StrasbourgRobert O. Homme, who survived a shooting on 26 March 1984 after a gun was found in his apartment during a police raid. This all happened during the 1982 Lebanon War.

After his capture, he testified "I do what I do because of the injustice done to human rights where Palestine is concerned ..

In December 2013, the French city of Bagnolet (a suburb located east of Paris) voted to make Abdallah an "honorary resident." The city council's motion (which did not mention Abdallah's role in Ray's murder) described him as a “communist activist” and a “political prisoner” who “belongs to the resistance movement of Lebanon" and is a "determined defender of the Palestinian just cause

you are making the french more than the french themselves...
    lol...
he is now a hostage and political prisonner and thats against any law...A complaint was sent against France to the investigators of the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention. Another complaint was sent to the French Supreme Court against Minister Valls for not signing the administrative paper necessary for Abdallah's release.

He killed the American officer on January 18, 1982 and the Israeli diplomat on April 3, 1982.

The Israeli invasion started on June 6, 1982.

Maybe you should have said « his action caused the Israeli invasion... »

USA and israel commited numerous crimes around the world , and a lot of crimes in lebanon

israel since its foundation on 1948 ..
    USA since 1958 ..
i can remember crimes like qana massacre , no one went to jail or were accused about it ..
so its not a matter of law .. Abdalla is a prisoner of War and the lebanese govern responsability to treat for his release .ASAP
