exactly, but in Lebanon it is different. in Lebanon, the church guides the Christians like attee3 el ghanam, in western countries it doesn't. politicians in Lebanon rely too much on the church to gain popularity while in western countries this is not required

I don't care about a particular case !! I'm addressing the matter in general !! you are not allowed to forbid someone IFEDEH MADDRASSIEH if he can't pay the tuition anymore!! He took his own life and I criticized him for doing so .. but there's a reason behind his actions !! This is a national problem !! a Kuwaiti offering money to his family doesn't solve the problem !! this Kuwaiti cannot afford to help all those who can't satisfy the hungry thieves calling themselves professors etc...

    1. The church can't channel Christian's . That's impossible. Religiously only yes. We are not like mouzlems. Plenty of freedom.
    2. Professors have families too. I know you don't care about George.i do. Thats why I'm following it up because it shouldn't have happened. I think it was a threat that went further than expected. They helped him previously. but the school is a good school and has fees.
    3. Your girlfriend. I don't do blokes.
    4. You are panicking because you see it coming. You won't wait past 2019. This is a war. It may look sometimes that I'm against him but my expectations are too high. He is the only guy that can do it.the rest are all ego.

1 - that's in a country where the church has no say.
2 - in Lebanon you are not in a country but in a mazraa literally
3 - the tuition in private schools is way too high compared to any other country in the world when compared to the standard of living
and with all respect, they are not being taught rocket science !! schools and universities in Lebanon and yes all of them are nothing
but a bunch of companies that resemble banks. hek, some schools and universities are bigger than banks !!

In Lebanon there's no monitoring for prices simply because 7amiha 7aramiha !! ..no Hissba !!
Clearly u did not go outside Lebanon. Believe it or not, its private schools are the cheapest compared to the region and quality of education. I am not saying cheap, but relatively cheap compared to the region and the quality of education.

The church fee varies according to one's income.
The wealthier you are the higher the fee.
    I know a couple who paid $5,000.

First time I hear that one should disclose his salary to the priest. And Are you eluding that I am on a low income?
Well I can tell you this: All I paid was voluntary in my wedding in one of the finest churches in Beirut.

Please stop unfounded claims....One couple does not validate your claim.

Are you kidding? The priest interrogates you before the wedding ceremony, so that they can assess your financial situation and determine how much money they can milk out of you.
The church fee is not fixed.

Also, I didn't elude that you're on a low income. I assumed you were single.

This sad story breaks your heart.

What a shame. The selfish church wouldn't give the poor guy his kid's transcripts so he can transfer her. These are not men of god, these are monsters.

By the same token, the Lebanese public school system shouldn't be categorically denying a kid education based on lack of released transcripts from a private school? What sort of retarded dumb ass bureaucracy is this?

Shitty disgusting 10th world shit hole of a country.

fi kelmeh yemken ma entabahtella bel post taba3eh "compared to the standard of living" so please ma tetfalsaf. Lebanon is the most expensive country in the world.
the word expensive in other countries, means special products made for rich people, while the word expensive in Lebanon encompass all products !!

a country's power is measured by the prosperity of its society and not by the prosperity of its governing minority and if you want examples, I'll give you plenty.

when societies become poor, they become exploitable, they can be bought. you have no right to accuse them of treachery.
this is something HA finds it very difficult to process. Accusing people in Lebanon and spreading ugly rumors about them is the easiest thing to do.
even without evidence. yet no one wants to solve the real cause of the problem. All they want to do is appear in good shape in front of the international community
even if they are rotten internally. The game is outdated, the international community knows everything about the situation in Lebanon and in the Arab world too

Westerners can't get final assessment cards too if you think they dont pay their final payment. It is a shit hole but the church has nothing to do with this one.

Usually, you pay a fixed fee depending on the location where you want. In most villages, it is almost free and you pay for the carol singers, cleaning, etc...

If you want to get married in Downtown for example, then the fees are usually a bit high. You can also donate whatever amount of money you want.

Looks to me you are not convinced. Why not asking ur extended family and friends who live abroad with their kids? Ask them how they cope with school fees and what their children learn in return . What you mentioned is a common issue everywhere : u have to work hard and spend even more . Otherwise send ur children to public schools.
