Thus Saith the Lord:

Caesar reincarnated has annhilated HA with his mighty sword, trusty shield, shiny armor and wavy cape and has crucified all dissidents from Hariri to SHN, from North to South, East to West all littered with my enemies. The Palestinians have fled across the border to Syria, and the Baathist regime has fled away from my wrath into Iraq and Iran. Lebanon has made peace with Israel and signed a Mutual Protection Pact to combat terrorism.

Population: Christian 65%, Muslim 20%, Jewish 10%, Heathens 5%. Male 35%, Female 65%.

However don't have to be so discriminant towards muslims...

As a male, I would be glad to come back... rebuild the country... and it's beautifull scenery, the hills and the valleys, the good smell of virgin forests:biggrin:

These were not so much as predictions as they were reading the trend with eyes wide shut.
If you didn't have children I'd give you my predictions for the next ten years.

oh my God shadow1, were u talking abt the end of the world! could be a realistic point of view, but it's scary!

the way i see it,maybe i'm optimistic is that we'll be living in a peaceful region, i remember that my "questions d'actualite" teacher told us in 2020, there will be a metro station, or a subway in the middle east that will pass by jordan, israel, lebanon, syria... so i believe we'll be a small independent country with normal relations with our neighbours,
i know this might sound naive! but i think there are plans for a calm region in max 10 yrs!
Inanna, wherever you are now, may god bless you. 15 years has gone since you wrote this post. Now that 2020 has come and soon will be gone raw7a bala raj3a, I need to ask you: do you remember if your teacher's name was 7aleem Safi? The same guy who was deported to Tibet as per The Ostrich newspaper report?
