All the bigs sucked in their 1st match ( regardless of the end result as france won by luck ) except spain ( while it ended the game with a draw) . This is my humble opinion.
True. Of the big teams, Spain is the most convincing so far.

Spain-Portugal and Germany-Mexico were the best matches.

Think it may have something to do with being matched against weaker teams with the exception of Spain being against Portugal, not much of a challenge but rather an opportunity to take it easy

But then again I only watch football once every 4 years and find it boring AF so far with the exception of Iceland, those tall blonde tattooed men that descended on the field like vikings impressed Isabella :p
group stages of the WC are usually boring because weaker teams play ultimate defense with counter attacks in the hope of making a miracle. Champion league looks more entertaining due to the “ aller- retour” formula. If you lose the 1st game you are forced to attack the 2nd game or you lose.

Bazil vs Germamy in the next round:

If Brazil wins its group and Germany finishes second in its group.
If Brazil finishes second in its group and Germany wins its group.

That's a plausible scenario. But I'm pretty sure that Germany and Brazil will lead their groups. The remaining games are very easy.
Mexico was the toughest opponent in the group.

Same thing for Brazil. If Switzerland can beat Serbia, so can Brazil.

If mexico wins its last two games against Sweden and South Korea then they will lead their group. Not far fetched if they play with the same energy as they did with Germany.

    Interesting

Congrats to them. Serbia is such an evil country.
It seems the Serbs are butthurt from Shaqiri's Albanian eagle gesture.
It's their mother country's national symbol. Live with it!

And France could face Argentina in the second round :/ (if Argentina makes it through)
    Group C winner vs Group D runner-up

This will make Croatia's path to the finals easier, as it will be facing Denmark.

It's not unlikely for Croatia to advance to the semi-finals. What do you think?
