    Good job man...
    That was the thread introduction
    Rafic Harriri rebuilt the
    - downtown
    - electricity ( 24/24 h in 1998 )
    - telecom
    - Roads
    - Airport
    - Hospitals
His death a national holiday paved the way for the Syrians to leave Lebanon, he worked with Chiraq to pass resolutions 1559, he supported resistance against Israel ( 1993, 1996 wars which paved the way to liberate Lebanon)
    - on the negative side he covered Syrians occupation for a period of time , he was probably corrupted, he made the naturalization decree ( at least he did for his community; Aounists were not able to give Lebanese nationality back to a lot of people. he supported electoral law not in Christians interest.
He left a debt of 37 billion dollars in 2005 with Emile Lahoud but he saved Lebanon economy twice in Paris 1 and Paris 2.
I said he was probably corrupted but you don’t read Ralph

Most of the Aounist accusations are factual but I have no idea how does that translate into Michel Aoun being the savior of Lebanon? This is the epitome of warped logic, especially validated in the last years since it has become evident that the grandiose anti-corruption screams are nothing more than leverage tools in negotiations that will be dropped the millisecond FPM gets more seats on the table. Clearest example of this is Riyad Salemeh's re-appointment. FPM never named a substitute, just used their rejection as a way to highball in order to get more appointments in numerous governmental positions later.

We are living in dire times at the present moment because of the Hariri Sr. legacy. But 15 years after his death, why is the Hariri Sr. cash-cow system still untouched by his successors in the government from the entire political spectrum? Because the perks were too attractive to resist.

Hariri was evil. He paid all the parties in Lebanon during the war to destruct the downtown, so he can come on that white horse to be the "Savior".
Aounists did their best from 1990 to 2005 to liberate Lebanon from Syrians Occupancy, and starting 2005 they tried their best to unify lebanese under Lebanons interests. Harriri had its Mafias Joumblatt his own, Geagea his own, Berri his own, Frangieh his own, the frata Christians (Murr Gemayel, Hawat..and the other maneyik) their own. War against mafias is raging now in Lebanon. We are all waiting for the outcome.

During that time there were people inside the system that was all pro-syrian but still opposing the Hariri bankruptcy legacy policy, people like Salim El Hoss, Najah Wakim all syrian lackeys at that time of course yet in perspective they deserve a statue for their vision. While Hariri fa2a3 w fa77am he never lived to know how devastating his robberies and his ponzi schemes were. But since his son keeps saying baba w meshyin 3a khota than his son inherites the responsibility and should be held accountable, anyway he inherited the fortune (and tax free) so the government should go after the Hariri wealth.

When Aounists accuse you of something, you can be 100% sure they're guilty of the same or worse -- much worse.

Aounists accuse Hariri of corruption yet they proved to be 10x worse.

Bikaffeek they sold the country to Iran. Tfou

I'm the biggest Islamophobe but I don't get the uproar over Al Amin Mosque.
    Lebanon is a Muslim-majority country.
It is not about being a muslim or christian majority country. It is about that Mosque is like Hariri octopus tentacles all over Beirut. He wanted Beirut to himself and that is the issue.

His death made him a martyr
The whole country closed 14 feb Friday
Did you honor the 13 October martyrs by declaring a national holiday
We do not need to declare 13 oct a day off To honor our lebanese martyres . This is all the difference between you and us .
You made hariri death a day off but you never honored those who fell under the fire of those to whom your beloved martyre gave the key of your capital Beirut . Cause you never respected your own people .
Hariri was a business man = making money is his priority of course he had to feed his dogs as well .....3ammar w 3allam ? Hay sar badda hela hela ho ......
Do i need to say more ?
