You're wrong. Hizbullah serve Iran and peace is not in their interests. Israel can concede to all demands and Hizbullah will still reject peace.

They are part of the Lebanese population and also very pragmatic.
For now, the relationship is defined by state of war - HA as an organisation gets it supports from Iran.
Do they have free range to decide whatever they want ? Certainly no - but as long as this situation remains who in Lebanon would be mad enough to ask HA to disarm and give the last negotiation card we have ? No one serious.

The solution is very simple : take the steps proactively, put a realistic plan that you know will be supported by the people as the points I mentioned, then what would happen ? The people would support it including the people behind HA - and naturally HA would have accomplished its mission in helping restoring the rights of Lebanon.

It is VERY easy to fix the Lebanese-Israeli issue, seriously simple and there is no need for new generations to hate each other and be at war

Back to square one : you want a one side peace. You want a peace that will give you security without giving a damn on what is happening on the Lebanon side. How can this sustain ?

You want us to disarm HA knowing that this is the only card that we have to get something in return from a negotiation. Why would Lebanon disarm HA without anything for the country in return ?

Both Israel and HA are winners of this situation but both people are suffering from it, these days more Lebanese than Israelis.

Take the initiative, offer a just peace plan that is worked out with the Arabs, US and Russia - put it on the table. If the plan makes sense 100% of the people will vote for and HA will disarm the next day.

Many HA supporters on the forum, just ask them and you will be surprised
