Nah, you either didn't understand what I said or seek to twist it. I said Trump, who you called an idiot, made a decision to stop the US from entering a war with Iran, for which Bolton, didn't say or imply that he was an idiot, was openly and vehemently advocating.

In fact, your logic is quite flawed because you unjustifiably and brashly took Bolton for a genius just because he opposed Trump, the idiot. I'd be a bit more cautious in assessing their political acumen. As someone earlier in this thread implied, they all suck in the bigger picture. Would you get in bed with a tiger to avoid a wolf?
I never said Bolton was a genius. He doesn’t have to be to tell me that Donald Trump spends 2 hours a day fixing his hair.

And yes, Bolton is both smarter and more eloquent than Donald Trump. That doesn’t make him a genius, it’s a very low bar to clear.

Fake news portraying Kamala Harris as half black half Indian American is very misleading and insulting to American voters’ intelligence that are lead to believe she is half African-American and half Native American.

She is neither. Her dad is Jamaican and her mom is from India…
How much does the Trump campaign pay you?

I'm a non partisan and for sure no supporter of Thump's. The way I stated my poll on this thread should be enough to make sure this is not about Trump.

Having said that, what is it that you think is not accurate with my above statement?

I was listening to Democracy Now news report which I respect a lot for its independence telling the story but was disappointed the way they introduce Harris' ethnic background not that it should ever be an issue to start with when choosing a candidate...

Black people come from Africa (and other places outside). Jamaicans are Africans.

Indian Americans are people of Indian ancestry. Just like Lebanese Americans are people of Lebanese ancestry.

The media is right. You, as usual, are wrong.

Since you put it that way, now I have no choice but to put my vote in Biden's hat before he loses his head with the hat on it.:woot:

CNN, defender of Biden's fitness as president, praises VP pick Harris by saying she's ready to STEP IN if he walks away

CNN, the same media outlet that calls it "offensive and otherworldly" for conservatives to question Joe Biden's fitness to serve as president, is praising his running mate for being ready to replace him if he "steps aside."
Biden's announcement Tuesday that he chose Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate set off a wave of media praise for the Democrat vice-presidential candidate. In noting her selling points, CNN said Harris' resume suggests she will be "ready to step in if and when Biden decides to step aside."
Why Biden might decide to step aside wasn't specified. No US president has stepped aside since Richard Nixon resigned amid the Watergate scandal in 1974, and no other president has been replaced since John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. Nor was it made clear why a network that has promoted Biden's candidacy would do so while contemplating his exit before his four-year term ends.
Plenty of Republicans have raised such questions about the 77-year-old Biden, particularly regarding his cognitive abilities after a series of speaking gaffes on the campaign trail. Conservative radio host Michael Savage has said that Biden isn't really running for president because his VP pick will take over the job within three months. Radio host Ben Shapiro said Biden is "falling apart."

Most US voters, including nearly half of Democrats, don't expect Joe Biden to serve his full four-year term if elected president in November, saying his vice president will have to take the helm at some point, a new poll reveals.
Fifty-nine percent of all likely voters and, somewhat surprisingly, 49 percent of Democrats, say the 77-year-old Biden probably isn't up to running the country for four years, according to the Rasmussen Reports poll released on Monday.
Less surprising, 73 percent percent of Republicans and 57 percent of independents agreed that it's likely Biden's running mate would become president sometime during his term.
The poll marks a startling revelation as the election draws near, given how infrequently such an event has occurred in US history. A US president hasn't been replaced during his term since Richard Nixon resigned in 1974. Before that, a president hadn’t been replaced since John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. Apart from assassination, a president hasn't been physically unable to finish a term since Franklin D. Roosevelt died in 1945.
Rasmussen's findings also show how high the stakes will be when Biden chooses his running mate – a decision he has reportedly already made and is expected to announce this week. Biden has pledged that he will choose a woman for the job, and he faces pressure from within the Democrat party to pick a black woman.
The poll also shows that mainstream media’s concerted efforts to dismiss concerns over Biden's mental and physical fitness for the job have been unconvincing to many Americans.
In an opinion piece published Monday, CNN's Dean Obeidallah argued that a video of Biden riding a bike on Saturday "utterly devastated" allegations by President Donald Trump that Biden lacked the stamina and mental capacity needed for the job. Biden has fueled speculation about his deteriorating cognitive abilities by making a series of gaffes on the campaign trail.
Rasmussen didn't ask likely voters what sort of event they expect to necessitate replacing Biden as president. Thirty-nine percent of poll respondents said it's "very likely" that Biden wouldn't finish his term. Only 14 percent said it's "not at all likely."

" Most US voters don't think Biden will be able to finish his full four-year term if elected president"

I have reason to believe that most US voters think Biden will retire from politics on Nov 4th

Democratic Convention rides on BLM momentum, putting George Floyd family front & center in moment of silence

On the first night of its national convention, the Democratic Party has sought to cash in on months of raging protests over police brutality to sell 2020 nominee Joe Biden, trotting out George Floyd’s relatives at the event.
“George had a giving spirit, a spirit that has shown up on streets around our nation and around the world. People of all races, all ages, all genders, all backgrounds, peacefully protesting in the name of love and unity,” said Philonise Floyd, the brother of the man slain by Minneapolis police in May, bringing in a moment of silence to honor the memory of “the many other souls we lost to hate and injustice.”
It’s up to us to carry on the fight for justice. Our actions will be their legacies.
Though both Biden and running mate Kamala Harris have frequently backed ‘tough-on-crime’ policies that have taken a disproportionate toll on black communities – with Biden helping to write a controversial 1994 crime bill and Harris working as a career prosecutor with a less than progressive record – the Democratic Party has thrown its weight behind growing calls for police reform in recent months. The Black Lives Matter movement has led those demands, and is expected to feature heavily throughout the four-day convention, with DNC Chair Tom Perez saying ahead of the event that the party shares BLM’s “commitment to justice and hears their demands for change.”
When we nominate Joe Biden to be our standard-bearer, we will not miss this moment to ensure those values are reflected in everything we do.
Democrats’ election platform demands end to ‘forever wars’ — most of which were launched last time Biden held office

Red line? Biden rejects DNC guest Linda Sarsour’s endorsement over her ‘anti-Semitism’ & BDS support

:lol:Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden hasn't encountered many far-left policies he won't embrace – from free healthcare for illegal aliens to free college – but he found one leftist supporter he won't abide: Linda Sarsour.
Sarsour, a Muslim activist and co-founder of the Women's March, endorsed Biden last week and spoke Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention's “Muslim Delegates and Allies Assembly.” Biden responded by denouncing her.
“Joe Biden has been a strong supporter of Israel and a vehement opponent of anti-Semitism his entire life, and he obviously condemns (Sarsour's) views and opposes BDS, as does the Democratic platform,” campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said. “She has no role in the Biden campaign whatsoever.”

BDS is the international movement to boycott Israeli businesses and institutions, divest Israeli assets and pressure governments to sanction Israel and businesses linked to Israeli settlements. Sarsour supports BDS, called for “jihad” against President Donald Trump in 2017 and praised Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who has likened Jewish people to termites. She and two other Women's March co-chairs stepped down from the organization last year amid allegations of anti-Semitism.

Sarsour previously campaigned for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who was Biden's leading rival for the Democrat nomination for president. In endorsing Biden, she tweeted: “It's no secret that I have disagreements with both VP Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris, but I know what I need to do: elect the Biden-Harris ticket and prepare to hold them accountable in the White House.”

That decision was met with disgust by other pro-Palestinian activists. “How did holding Obama and Biden accountable work out when they gave Israel missiles to slaughter 550 children in Gaza?” journalist Dan Cohen asked on Twitter. “This is a farce. Please stop.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations said Wednesday that “smearing” Sarsour and other American Muslims as anti-Semitic for supporting Palestinian human rights is “predictable, despicable and unacceptable.”
Meanwhile, MoveOn, the political action group backed by progressive liberal billionaire George Soros, called Sarsour “a leader in the fight for justice for all of us.” The group added, “Biden can support Israel without implying that critique of Israeli government policy is anti-Semitic or condemning advocates for Palestinian rights.” It advised Biden to build “a big tent” that welcomes Muslim Americans and progressives “even where policy disagreements exist.”

Clinton urges Biden to not concede ‘UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES,’ calls for ‘massive legal op’ in case Trump sees narrow win
1598333866004.png

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has implored the current Donald Trump challenger, Joe Biden, to not concede defeat in the election, sparking accusations from the GOP that the party would “steal” the vote.
In a clip, released just as the Republican National Convention was about to kick off on Monday evening, Clinton argued that if Trump emerges victorious in the November presidential contest but with a small margin, Biden should refuse to acknowledge the Republican’s victory.
ALSO ON RT.COMClinton says she could beat Trump in 2020, would have handled Covid-19 pandemic better
Instead, the former VP must brace himself for a dragged-out legal battle in which, Clinton believes, he would prevail in the end.
Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances, because I think this is going to drag out and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is
Clinton suggested that Trump would try to “mess up” the absentee balloting system, claiming that she was told that the GOP “had 40 lawyers challenging absentee mail-in voting” in a Michigan Republcan presidential primary, suggesting that it was a rehearsal for the November election.
To counter that, Democrats should mount a legal offensive of their own, Clinton argued.
We’ve gotta have a massive legal operation, we have to have poll workers...We have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidation…
Clinton’s words have drawn swift pushback from the Trump campaign, which observed that by calling on Biden to refuse to accept his loss “under any circumstances,” Clinton implied that the Democrats are poised to “steal the election” to oust Trump from office.

The Republican Party’s national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington called on mainstream media to step up and grill Clinton, as well as “every single Democrat,” on whether they would accept the election result, the same way they have done with Trump.

“I'm sure the media will frantically ask every single Democrat if they will accept the results of the 2020 election,” she said. “They're literally telling us they won't.”
Trump supporters dug up Clinton’s own tweets from before the 2016 vote, in which she described questioning the outcome of presidential elections as a “threat to democracy.”

Clinton’s claims that Trump would try to derail the mail-in voting system in order to sway the election in his favor mirror similar accusations by congressional Democrats, who have argued that Trump has sought to undermine the 2020 vote by withholding funding from the US Postal Service. The Democrat-led campaign saw 26 Republicans joining House Democrats in a vote for a bill on Saturday that would earmark $25 billion to support universal mail-in voting on election day. The bill, however, is likely to hit a stonewall in the Republican-majority Senate, with Trump himself squarely opposing the universal rollout of mail-in ballots, arguing it would make elections vulnerable to fraud.
