Lebanese Basketball team in West Asia Championship 2015

As a first step to qualify for Rio de janeiro olympics 2016. We must qualify and win the Asian Championship.

In order to do this, we must rank among the top 3 in the West Asia Championship.

The tournament start this Friday the 29th of May 2015 and takes place in Amman.

Lebanon will play:

1. Iraq on Friday the 29th
2. Jordan on Saturday the 30th
3. Syria on Sunday the 31st
4. Palestine on Monday the 1st of June

The 15 chosen players to represent our country are:

. Centers: Charles Tabet, Joe Aby Khers
. Guards: Jay Youngblood, Amir Saoud, Nadim Souaid, Elie Rustom, Jean Abdel Nour
. Forwards: Fadi Khatib, Bassel Bawji, Hayg Gyokchyan, Omar Ayoubi
. Point Guards: Ali Mahmoud, Wael Arakji, Ali Mezher, Sevag Ketejian

We won easily over Iraq and Jordan.

Usually, we are controlling most of the game's tempo, even with a lot of our main players injured.

I think, except Iran, all of the WABA teams are way less inferior than us.
