    Very Interesting
Well soon enough the president and FPM will start defending Hariri if this escalated, and so will you.
They cannot afford another government formation :)

If he is involved in money laundry no one can help him, the international law will kick his ass, if the story is about a love affair he should clear his name with NYtimes!

According to Ibrahim al Ameen of alAkhbar newspaper, Saudi Arabia is not happy with Saad Hariri and they want him gone. Even the Saudi embassy and its staff are not giving Hariri the importance they used to. Saudi Arabia prefers anarchy than a government that aids Hezbollah's position in Lebanon. On the other hand, the Americans believe removing Hariri will actually empower Hezballah. They both believe that sanctions and internal pressure will accomplish a change in Lebanon, where the Shi'a will turn against Hezballah, like the Sunnis turned against Hariri in the last election.

FM MP Hadi Hbeich was on aljadeed this morning with Samar AbuKhalil. He described the NYT article as "iftira2at".

He said Hariri is under lot of pressure. Pressure because of Hezballah. And he is sacrificing his time and money because of Lebanon. That he had almost 4bn when he became PM and now only has about 2bn. Samar was bold and she replied that his dad had 4bn when he took over and had about 19bn when he was killed in 2005. And Saad lost his money in miscalculations and spending on political and election campaigns. The same Hadi denied Saad was having a tense relationship with the Saudis. But still admitted to Hariri coming under lots of pressure.

He said Hariri can easily throw in the towel and give up. But he is holding on to protect Lebanon. Because if he resigns and a March 8 Sunni is appointed PM, the future of Lebanon won't be good.

So I guess, we all should be saying " thank you Saad", every morning! He is the messiah of Lebanon.

She indeed is bold. To describe the plundering of the Lebanese people as 'success' is a hallmark of mind-bending boldness.
