Let's be objective for a while.
Let's say that LF becomes the #1 christian party in lebanon after next year's elections. What would really happen if Samir Geagea becomes president ?

Although I believe that Farid e Khazen will be the next president, but what if ?

Why waste your time discussing a dream that will never happen. Even if LF increase to 25 mps and FPM drops to 15, the math still would never be in his favor. The Next President needs approval from HA or AMAL, FM, LF and FPM, unless by some miracle the Thawra come in with a tsunami.

Most likely scenario: Aoun will extend his own term by 3 years then deadlock and vacuum for 2 - 4 years until some major geopolitical shift or major assassination occurs.

Aoun can't extend without getting 1/2 + 1 MP's approval (65), if we do the math FPM 25 + HA 13 = 38, how is that a most likely scenario

Geagea might be able to convince his halfwitted followers that he's a "7akeem" despite barely finishing two years of premed, but he'd need a miracle of biblical proportions to convince everyone else that he's fit for anything other than the head of a militant gang of has-beens, political prostitutes and numbskulled manchildren.

Thanks for the objective answer.

Why FPM voted each time for Nabih Berri as Speaker, while they know he is a "baltajeh", the most corrupted politician in Lebanon and that he would never back Aoun or Bassil for presidency ?

And will FPM still vote for Berri as Speaker after the next elections ?

in 2005 FPM didn't vote for berri and in 2018 not all voted for him

It would be hypocrites if FPM votes for other than Berri, when FPM asks others to respect Christian representation and that the President must represent a great Christian base.

FPM are basically playing the card to force them to first respect Christians, second, bring a President that is free; despite his limited powers.
Berri is elected with or without FPM; we need Christians to be respected as well

Could not be FPM partisan, but someone that FPM and HA can trust

Be it Bassil or Farid Khazen, Farid Boustany or or; someone under FPM umbrella

Franjiyeh is untrustworthy to HA nowdays, I think

HA will not accept a centrist a la Michel Sleiman anymore
