Published Tuesday, May 21, 2013 Saudi Arabia on Tuesday beheaded five Yemenis and used cranes to hang their bodies in public for killing a national and forming a gang that committed robberies across several towns in the kingdom, the interior ministry said.
New York-based watchdog Human Rights Watch (HRW) slammed the punishment as "outrageous."
The ministry later also announced, in statements carried by the official SPA news agency, that a Saudi was beheaded in the southwestern region of Assir for the murder of a fellow citizen.
The five were executed in the town of Jizan, also southwest Saudi Arabia.
The beheadings bring the number of people executed in the kingdom this year to 47, according to an AFP tally.
A witness in Jizan told AFP that the five men were "beheaded by the sword" and displayed in public near a university.
Their bodies were removed from the area a few hours later, according to witnesses.
In a picture on Twitter, five men are seen hanging from a rope tied to their waists on a horizontal bar between two cranes, in a public display which Saudi authorities refer to as "crucifixion."
Their heads were placed in sacks and tied to their bodies.

    Lingerie shop in Saudi Arabia
This photo may seem funny, but it depicts the sad reality of the Muslim world . segregation between men and women in Islamic countries makes men grow young without any understanding of women and no ability to interact with them as equals. As can be expected that such men become husbands normal? growth is dysfunctional. Any woman marry a Muslim in this condition are looking for trouble .

Saudi Arabia to expel foreigners who eat during Ramadan

    Published Tuesday, July 9, 2013

Saudi Arabia threatened on Tuesday to expel non-Muslim expatriates who eat, drink, or smoke in public during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
Ramadan begins in the kingdom on Wednesday.
"Non-Muslim residents in the kingdom must not eat or drink in public during Ramadan, in respect to the holiness of Ramadan and the feelings of Muslims," said an interior ministry statement published by the official SPA news agency.
Foreigners caught breaking the fast in public "will be subject to deterrent measures that include terminating their employment contracts and expelling them from the kingdom," the ministry said.
It added that "companies, corporations and individuals are required to inform their employees" of the rules.
Oil-rich Saudi Arabia, which applies a strict version of sharia (Islamic) law, is home to eight million foreigners, mostly Asians.
During Ramadan, Muslims who choose to fast do so from dawn to dusk.
The month begins with the sighting of the new moon, which varies from country to country.
During Ramadan, Muslims are also required to abstain from drinking liquids, smoking and having sex from dawn until dusk. The fast is one of the five main religious obligations under Islam.

Why not also forcing them to fast while we are at it?
