Paula acted more like spy in that interview. She knew what she was doing, passing Hariri info about whats happening in Lebanon as she asked him the questions. At least she knew enough to play this role.
Ummm you think? Aren't you giving her too much credit?

Paula Yaacoubian, really, we are going there?!!! You deserve a green troll face just for that! It discredited your whole point ;)
I cant beleive she has the audacity to show her face again let alone be a candidate for the coming elections! If that is the sort of women that want to join politics, Id rather have an all men's club thank you very much.
Exactly! She's been fervently pro-Hariri all her life, going as far as fooling the Lebanese audience with her Riyadh interview.
And now come the elections, she suddenly wants to convince everyone she's part of the civic society, that she's had enough of all politicians...

She's a greedy attention seeker. Can't stand her.

Hypocritical women shouldn't jump on the women empowerment bandwagon. It's about qualification not gender.

I'd rather have no women in the parliament than people like Paulette Yagobian.
Right who said I was a fan of hers ? I used her hariri interview as a point of comparison with Marcel ghanem when I was told he was objective about the subject of hariri lol! She was here to show that Paula f****ng yaacoubian was more objective in an interview about the same subject than Marcel ghanem yet he's somehow considered the golden standard of political show hosts in Lebanon!

Saw her two days ago on BBC, wanted to smash the TV, that's how much I can't stand her lol. I feel they are pushing her down our throats bil ouwe! I hope she fails, I would really hate to see her in parliament.

Actually now that I think of it, there is something weirdly similar between her and Marcel Ghanem, can't put my finger on it, she is like the female version of him in some sort of way haha.

He's long been a troll. I really can't see how anyone takes him seriously. He's awfully biased and terrible to watch. A perfect match for MTV.

Well count me in the "love him" camp. I'm glad that we can finally see him in HD.

I forgot to mention that not only he's super biased and a lousy journalist, he's also full of himself and narcissistic. Yuck.

I agree with all of the above, except for the lousy journalist part.
Regardless of his character, he is the best at conducting debates in a way that captivates your attention (unless payed to soften the tone, but the ability is there regardless), he was born for that job.

But captivating the public's attention is not what makes a good journalist. It's one small quality among many far more important ones. A journalist is supposed to be more or less neutral and, most importantly, fair. He's awful with the last two and his bias often sips in in the sneakiest ways: for example, giving those with viewpoints he doesn't like 10% of the air time others get. I don't know if that's how he's been for most of his career, but certainly in the past 10 years. His character also directly informs his style. I personally don't think it's "captivating" to watch a narcissist jerking his own ego in center stage....

Anyways, I don't think anyone would bother with him on MTV except die hard M14ers. He can kiss his career goodbye.

Is there any relation between his decision to leave LBC and the fact it might soon return to LF ?

    mtv

    mtv
    lbci
