cuz i couldnt care less what he says

he has the right to say it tho

all that matters now is that both of them sangafo ba3don, thats why i said RIP

    its a deadlock

no new gov, no new anything

just like the beautiful deadlock that created and couldnt end the 1975 civil war
That's why a revolution without a plan and no one to negotiate on their behalf is doomed to fail and go nowhere

Dignified Christian presence in Lebanon for eternity, In harmony with our muslim compatriots.
we tried this for 30 years and here we are now .... it is not a question of Muslim - Christian peaceful survival,
it is a question of Lebanese people survival versus corrupt sectarian system survival - I don't worship a za3eem without nothing in return like you do

At least a cause that assures their survival.
if this is indeed the claimed goal, im no sure this is realized by blindly allying with hisbullah for instance

again i repeat, i separate my logic from my opinions

for instance i respect SHN, i truly do, i dont see him as evil or insane as his detractors portray him, i actually see him as a man of principle, some of his principles tho i dont agree with, so i dont consider blindly allying with him

if that is the declared goal, we have to be honest with ourselves and acknowledge our problems and issues historically

there is no harmony in life, but there is a chance at stability. if we want to take a chance at it then maybe we should consider what swizerland did, effectively building a truly neutral confederation

gher hek romantic talk of harmony/peace between muslims and christians is of no real value

people will fight for resources and different societal norms, let us acknolwedge that and build on top it of not in denial of it

If you do that you will achieve nothing in one year as they will be campaigning and blocking each other so they can win the elections
So the revolution need also to unite on a single platform
    For an alternative
    I m with a moderate revolution
I don’t believe in radical actions
We need to have clean better governance

The revolutionaries want to feel like they belong to something transformational and anti-sectarianism is the hot topic. They never fought the Israelis in the south nor did they get imprisoned protesting the Syrians before 2005. This is their cause. A noble one if properly addressed, not imposed.

Yes but this will take years not months, people should keep that in mind
half of their protesters were pro hariri, the other half were LFers and PSPers with 10 percent independent (half of those are socialists)

they cant pick and choose now at this stage if harriri comes back or not

    Yes
And have 2 to 3 main goals that are achievable
Now it is used by political parties to push their agendas both local and international (closing roads)
Revolution should have a plan that gets and keeps people support around 2 to 3 achievable goals.

True it is why I attack Bassilis not Aounists
I wish the President form a government trusted by the people
This government has to be technical with light politicians
    That’s the only solution

Please also remember, the president cannot form anything.
He has to ask deputees like an election, and he has to go with the person they name.

The President should save his ahd and country and listen to his people
    A national compromise should emerge

You really think that Khatib was going to be PM? It was a joke. A ploy. He was never a serious contender. the whole political structure is being played by Hariri to place him back as PM but on his terms.
Let s analyze it with taking in consideration the following :
    1. SHN accepts Hariri's known conditions of excluding HA from the government : Probability = 0
    2. Any change may take place against the will of SHN : Probability = 0

Hariri put himself in a narrow position : blackmail with troubles to come if someone else is nominated PM, and he is backed by all the Sunnis figures including Dar el Ifta.

In these conditions, and at least for the moment:
    - PMA nominates anyone else other than Saad Hariri : the country goes in turmoil
    - PMA nominates Saad Hariri against the Parliament's majority that will be expressed in the istisharat : the state collapses in addition to the turmoil
    - PMA delays

In any case, it is better to go into turmoil than to have the collapse of Lebanon's state in extra.

Innou What a big huge false assumption you’re making.

Who is blindly allying with anyone?

you just say random things to say things?

FPM does not “blindly” ally with anyone. We have an MOU. Critique that if you want. But that’s not a blind alliance. Ok?

If this is a real thawra they should reject Saad Hariri now and people should storm the streets everywhere!! Bel ezen men el Mufti w Ahl el Sunna....
if this tharwa had enough steam/people behind it, they wouldnt need to block any roads

the road blocking thing is a tactic ppl resort to to paralyze the country with a small amount of ppl relatively

if many or most of lebanese were like the people of hongkong truly behind a movement to oppose a regime, the streets would fill easily even more so than they did in early 2005

I never said that this was the cause. I don't know what is the Christian cause, since I am not Christian. I only said that this cause should at least assure the survival of the Christians who is in great danger thanks to the plans that are currently executed in Lebanon.
