FPM agrees on early elections only in case of extending President Aoun's term for 3 more years.
Sure, but he has to agree to rein in Hezbollah on a constitutional level.

And there has to be a guarantee that finance and economy do not go to March 8. They suck at making money.

I’m smart enough to know that one’s intelligence does not guarantee him success.
Do high intelligence guarantee success? maybe not

but a person with your intelligence does not deserve more than jumblatt....hariri and berri ruling them

Because of people like you we are where we are now....Mr intelligent

You can’t explain why they did a better job even though they were crooks. Making it about me won’t help your case.

They didn't do a better job. They did an incredibly shitty job for decades. This is why we're in this situation today.

Well there's nothing to gain from going after an alleged ex-thief when you have thieves currently robbing you. But you think the thieves are reforming the country so 🤷.
If the "alleged" rumours turned out to he true, and that Mr. 10% turned out to be a thief, would you let him walk free? (Irrespective of the current people robbing the leftovers of the State).

I think we’re in this situation because the party behind these latest governments is considered to be a terrorist organization in many countries. That kinda makes things difficult....

No, but Mr. 10% (Amine el Gemayel), arms deal was the only cause that broke the Lebanese economy and its currency.
Unless FPM is trying to get rid of its competitions to pave the way for Basbouss to become president.
I'm not saying to let him go, but how does this holds Sami el Gemayel responsible for his father's actions?
I think the 15 years civil way is the main culprit, followed by 30 years of corruption by the militias leaders,
who wore tuxedos and took power after the civil war, take 90% of the responsibility for destroying Lebanon's economy
and prepare it for enforced peace with israel ... the remaining 10% responsibility is currently underway with the IMF deal.

one thing is for sure, whoever ruled us are divided between traitors and people who are completely ignorant of
how to manage and run a country

This generalization is intellectual idleness and nothing more. If this is the best you can do, then you are better off not meddling in public affairs; of course you do have the right to an opinion, but i also have the right to call it as i see it.

Once you lump everyone together, you are basically throwing the baby with bathwater. Perhaps this is something you find completely normal since you seem so adamant on throwing arrows at the sun in the hope of piercing it, but i would like to remind you that sane people, although they do have high hopes and expectations, usually keep those in the realm of reality. There ARE people working hard on trying to jumpstart the judiciary procedure with corruption files and if you insist on disregarding that fact, then you are either diverting attention from the main usual suspects, or you simply are too lazy to be inquired.

Spare us your kelloun rhetoric, it won't fly here.

the rules of engagement in this world are known.
"although they do have high hopes and expectations, usually keep those in the realm of reality"
maybe you should apply this to yourself and whom you support first.

Say what you want about me, true, I'm to lazy to be blinded by the details and the sophistication but
I see right through the truth and the reality much more than you think... The difference between you and me
is that I throw ideas to solve the problem while you and whom you support just apply what you're told without thinking
or realizing if what you're doing is right or wrong ...

The most atrocious crime is to have this mentality that you are not capable of inventing solutions to the problem that you are in
and that you always need someone else to find a solution for you. Tell me now, how are you better than those who came before you to power?
they did the same thing that you did and look where we have reached.
This is exactly why they won't surrender to you .. because the way you are behaving is not better than them, why should they give it to you on a silver
    plate?

Habibna, if Basbouss was not involved, he would have ripped his competition apart by now, Berri and Co. knew what were they doing.
I'm not here to give negative vibes ... I just don't see this government working as it should, if I have to give a word for it, I'd say: "single threaded" rather
than "multi-threaded" and "disconnected from reality" ... so far enforcing laws and screwing the poor and letting the corrupt roam free bi sanad kafeleh

Do you know the unit of measure gigaparsec? You are one gigaparsec away from reality mawlana.
Now, don't go measuring because it's virtually impossible for a mere mortal to comprehend the real scale of one lightyear, and i feel it is quite the same with you; reform, judicial procedures, good governance and raison d'etat are concepts that are so foreign to your own imagination that you fail to wrap your head around them and you can't see them even if they are riding your back, so to speak.

So let me get this straight, and i don't promise you that i will be reading this with a straight face.
You are too lazy to care for facts and follow through on certain affairs, but you instinctively know the truth because you have some sort of third eye on your forehead that transcends this world and sees into the Absolute Truth. Right, there IS a difference between you and me, and frankly i don't want to be in a competition with a self-proclaimed seer of the desert.

The only one nagging without any kind of solutions is you.
FPM has presented dozens of reform bills to the parliament, dozens of reform projects within the governments and dozens of lawsuits initiated against corrupt individuals. If you don't know the outcome of all that effort and how it was curtailed and when it bore fruits then it's a damn shame. Any decent individual would have at least recognized the effort many people are putting into enhancing his own livelihood. But i guess it takes a certain kind of people to do that.

La ya 3youni ent, abadan. Even Bassil is not exempt from being prosecuted. And if any corruption charge is presented and he gets convicted, FPMers themselves will ask for the maximum penalty. That's how we think and that's how we have always fought the temptations of power and corrupt wealth. That's not something that can be said about anyone in Lebanon than FPMers.
