What about mukhabarat jaysh detaining protesters and torturing them?
What kind of torture are we talking about? Iza aratouon kaffayn mish ma3neta 3imloulon torture. I know the Lebanese have a tendency to exaggerate, but I might give them the benefit of the doubt and say that any kind of torture is unacceptable, but it seems to me that it still doesn't indicate any systemic oppression. Like I said, detention is a common practice even in the most democratic of states when protestors become unruly and start rioting.

I'm not exaggerating anything if you have followed the ongoing events you would have known and heard about the torture cases..
It was already posted in this thread before..

They used well known torture methods.. there have been lots of talk about this so just google it!

At your recommendation, I searched both on Google and this thread in Arabic and English, and got the weak results I expected/already knew about, some of which haven't been corroborated/confirmed. One being Milhim Khalaf making a media show out of ill-defined incidents, the details of which to this day have not been fully disclosed, so I can't confidently say whether they constitute torture or not. Beyond that, yes, there should be accountability for incidents that include state use of force, but the biggest issue in all of this is that there are certain thugs in politics leading some thugs in certain security forces who are tasked with retaliating against some thugs in the streets, and average people get caught in the middle, unfortunately. Still doesn't constitute systemic oppression.
