They have been insinuating about it for a while on social Medias. When they talk about uniting the Christians in Lebanon, without saying against whom, they're actually promoting dividing Lebanon. And how many times have we heard it directly using fear factor from Hezbollah as a pretext.
Not sure how safe the Christian mini canton would be surrounded by 100 million Muslims after choosing Syria and a "Hezbollah State" as enemies surrounding them with the sea to their back. But hey. The Palestinians are all but officially naturalized in Lebanon now. Their great grandparents were born in Palestine, and all they know is Lebanon now. This is what will happen to 2 million Syrians next.
The plan is:
1. Naturalize the 2M Syrians and 1/2 M Palestinians as they are mostly Sunnis.
2. This will make both the Shi3a and Christians minorities in Lebanon and will make Lebanon a majority Sunni state. This is the Ottoman Sunni dream for ages.
3. Get rid of HA, and give Israel the peace that all Sunni nations give her (Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, ISIS, etc)

Let me assure you that there will be NO CHRISTIAN CANTON if Israel gets its way. Even if there was a Druze, of Shi3a, or Alawite Canton--There will be no Christian Canton. Israel will not allow it, as we will be their fiercest competitors (as long as an Idiot like Geagea does not lead it).

The best interest of Christians in Lebanon's is to preserve Lebanon as is.

There are clear demands that neither require a clear leadership structure nor negotiations. Formation of a new non-partisan technocrat government and early elections. You can call on the movement to organize differently when its comes to the early elections, but for now, maximum pressure and demonstrations until these two demands are met, and these two demands are clear as day.

The theory I'm peddling is that being involved in the political process takes organizing. OH THE HORROR! This is an excuse to fail on purpose. Personally, I'm thrilled we'll see the same faces for 15 more years. Meanwhile, Chile (protesting for almost the exact same amount of time) is getting a new constitution and there's a decent chance the protestors are going to force the creation of a constitutional committee to write it. I have been warning about this for weeks, on a daily basis. Read my posts-Every single day. This was BOUND to happen. You cant go on like this for weeks and not have issues between citizens that have been imprisoned in their own homes by the Geagea, Rifi, Jumblatt, Wahabi thugs cutting off the roads.

I sincerely don't think anyone sent anyone to do anything...This was an individual all by himself. Who knows what his problem is. if this was organized, it would have been more than one person and they would have been camouflaged or disguised. I am sure he lost his tempers after 4 weeks of insults, destruction, and blocking roads.

You all should expect more friction if people are not allowed to go back to schools, and work. People had enough of this militia behavior. I think you are so messed up in your thinking, that you think freedom of speech is closing roads with cement, insults, vandalization, and throwing rocks. That is not a civilized way to express your opinion and is not condoned by the law. Therefore, you should not expect to be treated with respect, when you behave like a hooligan and insane lunatic.
