Ya3ne if they vote for a diaspora districts, their votes won't be divided the same way? we won't end up with 3-3 MPs for each camp? or maybe 2-3 and 1 for non-parties? lol its the same sh1t ...
However if they vote for lebanese districts, they have the potential to tip the balance in every district for additional 7assel for 1 list or another... 1,2 or 3k votes in a district can yield the necessary fraction to reach a 7assel.
They have the potential to affect results, and its up to them and how they vote.

Sorry but your argument is full of nonsense.

PS: before you jump to the argument of "at least they would have their own representatives" ... well they do either way, and MP represents the nation, not a specific district. If they have concerns as expats then they can vote for a list inside that address their concerns as expats and have their voice heard in the parliament.

If the 30K is in North 3 as it is being said and there is high participation in this district it will change the whole affect of the election there. This impact by itself could be 3 7assel. So these 6 MPs can go up in smoke. We as expats don't want them nor need them and if the constitutional council reverses the vote for 15 districts I and many wont vote.

People are assuming that the support is the same as 2018. This is the problem. No one knows yet. Franjiyeh yes due to Zgharta and its families etc. GB will probably make it but only him.
Nshallah William Tawk mayenzal 3al FPM list cz 4k in Bcharre, 2k in Zgharta and 3k in Koura can guarantee a second 7asel

Everyone is just placing numbers around without knowing if there is any change in the political scene from 2018. Maybe Fadi Saad has dropped to 8K votes in Batroun masalan. It is just a guessing game at the moment and we don't even know the participation rate in Lebanon. In 2018 it was 49.7% if I recall and I have heard news that it could be lower this time round which means the expat vote if there is high participation could impact even more.

The anger is high, people will be voting en masse
lak ana i did not register just not to risk my vote going against the 6 MPs, i'm booking a flight and going to vote in Lebanon...
i can't be alone feeling this way dude.

Your right. There is many people who have decided not to register and go to Lebanon and vote due to the fear that this 6 MP expat vote will be approved. We will have to wait and see but the expat vote numbers @ the moment is promising.

tzakarneh there won’t be any expats voting
Majles doustoureh will agree 3al ta3en and they won’t be able to agree on the distribution for the 6 MPs so they’ll end up cancelling expat voting altogether

the line will be ‘ne7na li 3atayna l moughtareb 7aq l iqtira3 how dare you accuse us of obstructing their voting’

you heard it here first.
Tzakarneh.

Also agree.
I think this is what will happen and there will be an uproar due to this. We will see. What would you expect from this constitutional council where Aoun has 5 of them?

FPM's second seat is guaranteed. the question is where will it be, and whether the electoral machine can surgically target the location of the second seat or not.

the most likely scenario so far for the potential 5 list is the following:

marada 2+ seats
ja3ja3ists 2+ seats
FPM 2 seats
mouawad 1 seat.
thawra mshakkal 1 seat.

the other two seats will most likely be divided between marada and ja3ja3ists.

El fekra eno in 2018 they asked him what he promise to do in Koura he replied "Nothing" yet he still got 5k votes

That's a smart answer. Although MPs are voted in by their caza, they are supposed to draft laws that benefit the country as a whole, not only Koura.

Koura is not neglected at all. Amioun has a United Colors of Benetton store for God's sake.

Bcharreh, on the other hand, is quite poor and negelcted. Makes you wonder where all that 'fundraising money' is going...

Beauty is relative. I find Bechareh ugly. It used to be a peaceful village. Now it's full of concrete.

How is FPM second seat guaranteed? There is no alliance with FM this time and William Tawk alliance with FPM isn't confirmed. Also it's cringe calling LF "ja3ja3ists" the term "aounist" was popular back in the 89-90 referring to "ansar aoun" there is no "ansar geagea" those are LFers who believe in the LF cause not ansar a certain za3im

Becharre is not poor at all. It was neglected by the government during the Syrian occupation era. It was punished for being the most patriotic town in Lebanon but now it is the pride of all Lebanese patriots.
