Ohhhh shut up .
You sound like a hysterical full of grudge person . Too much friandise (glucose) is reallyyyy bad for your health . Calm down mich mamsahit zbeletkon nehna so behave .
Baha'a hariri if not bad might be worse then his late father .saad is an idiot .
After all during all his life and especially after the death of his father he has not realy shown any kind of patriotism toward Lebanon i dont know if he feel he is conected to this country in any way exept of course due to some businesses ect.ect .
So now he suddenly have this urge this pulsion of patriotism ya latif ... and siding with the so called revolution ? Are you serious .? He is just another evil hariri omen . He is not doing it out of patriotism .... He was always more intrested in business / money , then building or helping out "his" country . So please spare us your daily dars bel watanieh wel akhle2 .

The other day I was passing through Tarik Jdideh and a major fight erupted; apparently Bahaa is working on attracting supporters in Tarik Jdideh since months now if not years.

Well Bahaa have 2 things that Saad lacks ; fresh money and regional support!

with 1$ = 4000 - 5000 L.L. it will be easy for him to build massive popularity in Sunni poor areas.
Attacking HA/Bassil is another way for him to attract Sunni votes.

With Wiam Wahhab cheering for him shows that a major deal between Syria and Saudi Arabia is being prepared.

Now what will be the reaction of HA/FPM ? Will they let the Hariri play of 92 be done all over? If not what is the alternative? Especially if IMF refused Diab's plan?

We, as people, thanks to our leaders, who are compromised and political harlots, are in mess.

We really do not matter much if a foreign agreement is all it would require to make political changes in Lebanon. It makes our elections questionable because they dont prove effective in deciding Lebanon's destiny. We as a people dont have a say. We elect a bunch of parliamentary with absolute powers to do and undo, and even to extend their mandate without recourse to the people. And these parliamentarians can easily be bought and sold and imposed and deposed through the agreement of foreign countries. Those who refuse to abide by foreign dictates would be slapped with sanctions and sabotage. It's either freedom or hunger or we are satisfied financially and enslaved politically. This is the reason the entire system needs change. The people need to take back powers from parliament. Whether it has to do with directly electing the presidents, PM and speaker or lifting parliamentarians immunity or banking secrecy, full implementation of Taef and undoing the congressional system etc.

I hope we dont fall into the corner of having Syrians and Saudis determine our leaders again. The sad past should not return. The sad past some people like because it favoured them while it violates Lebanon's dignity as an independent country that deserves some international respect.

If any international monetary, financial or political agreement is to be reached, it should be reached directly between the nations frustrating our independence and efforts and the parliamentary majority voted for by the people. And such agreement doesnt entail imposing a foreign agent on the country who can be manipulated with strings. If the majority in parliament has chosen Diab or any fresh, uncorrupt and clean face, then foreign countries should have dealings with us through that official channel. Not through an imported agent imposed on the country like his father was.

The shameful days of rejoicing when "seen seen" are happy and agree on our behalf on our leadership shouldn't return. What happens when "seen seen" have disputes? Our govt falls and they use Lebanon as their experimental battlefield. We dont want Bahaa and we dont want "seen seen". We disagree for for Saudis and Syrians to choose who should lead us. Ste7o. And this is directed mainly at the majority in parliament in case they are in tune with bowing to foreign countries impose a foreign agent on us. And the foreign agent is meant to execute their agendas. Bahaa, from the little I know has good relations with both the Syrian leadership and the Saudis. When he chooses to side with one over the other, we enter into turmoil. He cant serve two masters. The end of it will be turmoil all over again after a short break of mutual understanding between teonforeign countries. We have to find a way not to return to that era. We presently have a good guy as PM and we can have another and another good guy, with a clean and incorruptible face and approach for PM and whichever country wants to help us and cares about fighting corruption and establishing good relations with us, outside the grip of corrupt men should speak to Mr Diab. Diab should be empowered by foreign powers who value their friendship with the Lebanese people.

In the end of it all, when leaders are not answerable to the people (already divided into sects and) in whose name they speak, and elections are just mere formality and eye service to legitimize the rule of the corrupt, why do we imagine we can stop the country from being looted and destroyed over and over again by the same men and their kids and grand kids?

Man, this country is a modern feudal society with a lot of nepotism.

ba3d meet sine, the great great grand kid of Saad Hariri will be Lebanese PM.

Lak walla ka2anak 3am te7dar game of thrones.
Shameless leaders. They possibly think now the people have calmed down after the protests (to return to the old system). The protests may have been compromised too, but the truth is the first few days represented a genuine desire of a united nation long divided by sects for change and to replace the old corrupt faces. And if you ask any sincere Lebanese, he would tell you that we dont want Saad and we dont Bahaa and we dont want their father, even if he is to resurrect. Same goes with those politicians who are preparing their sons to inherit their parliamentary seats and political parties, from Jumblatt, to Frangieh to the Gmayyel to Hariri to Fatfat to Me3rebeh family. Our country and future are not their inheritance to divide and share among themselves and impose on us their kids and grandkids. They are using the money they have looted from us to have a stranglehold over us through the corrupt use of money and hired thugs to silence free voices and opposition. We are not a monarchy. Enough with the old, corrupt, nepotistic and recycled leaders who have manipulated our future to enrich their pockets at the expense of the development and progress of the country and the lives of people who suffer because of their neglect and selfish rulership.

when feuds erupt between brothers, they know no limits. the hatred goes beyond normal feuds, and blood could easily be shed. so far it seems both brothers have no qualms about resorting their differences in the street.

i think we've had enough of the hariri family for the last three decades, time for us to turn a page on them and move on.

There are parliamentary systems in many countries. But we dont see what is happening in Lebanon since Taef happen elsewhere.

Before Taef, one Christian president after another without inheriting the presidency. Since Taef, they have turned the whole country into their family businesses through the parliamentary dictatorship. Shu hal maskhara.

Cant we have educated, enlightened and clean faces who dont belong to political dynasties? Even if they want to control their parties like family businesses, when it comes to state posts, we dont want family names to inherit the country and divide the spoils. Let us have clean and fresh faces. There are hundreds of thousands of Lebanese intellectuals who are capable to run the affairs of this small country well and efficiently. We have seen that with Diab and Hamad Hassan. We arent going back to the pre October 17 system. Let's move ahead ya 3akareet.

as long as the dependency on the person of the so called leader is the norm instead of a dependency on the state, we will still be basking in this reality. the dependency is inherited and passed along from one person to the next, as if people are a commodity that is also passed along in a feudal system. the cycle cannot be easily broken as they still control all the institutions required to invoke a change, add to it that we are failing at producing new good caliber leaderships, in particular when the latest independent achievement was paula yakoubian and hizb sab3a. i do not want to say the situation is hopeless, but i am convinced that the problem is as much in the population as it is in the leaderships.

in less than 3 months hassan diab presented a made in Lebanon model with a Lebanese accent that trumps all the prime ministers that we have had for the last 50 years, in particular as far as the hariris and their satellites are concerned. this is a model we should support and invest in. though it seems some political powers seemingly are rooting for bahaa hariri, this would be an unforgivable mistake.

Anything Hariri or foreign imposed is a recipe for disaster. Dont we deserve as a people to live in a democratic state with rights of citizenry free from the grip of feudal political and their foreign masters? It feels we are still living in the Ottoman era when the Turks have their henchmen who imposed and collected taxes and lord it over the rest of the population.

When Hassaan Diab wanted to break their grip on "helping" people for the needy families, they prevented the bill in parliament. Few days later, they conducted a tribal gathering under clerical blessing to show their sheep they are "helping" and therefore justify the slaughter of the sheep and bloodsucking that would follow. Diab caused the feudal lords to shiver with the coronavirus lockdown palliative. What Diab did is historic. I have never heard of the Lebanese state ever giving people one lira. They were not happy that for the first time the neglected Lebanese who dont belong to political parties/gangs felt they have a state to look up to and believe in and a national leader who looks after them.

Anyways, let them play, we are watching. Those who will sabotage the govt of Diab will be judged by history and the people harshly. Any protest that could follow after Diab will crush them. We will get over this post Taef mess. A number of them will die soon. They are already in ripe age with one foot in the grave. I dont normally pray for my enemy to die because death is a debt we all must pay. But today I am praying for their death because they are killing a nation and future generations. We should pray to Allah to speed up their invitation upstairs. People are suffering and slowly dying from their poisonous grip on their lives. Allah y3ajjel w yekhedon w yrayye7na min 2arafon. Tfeeh 3a hek 2ortet zo3ran 7aramiyyeh bala 7ayah. It shows they only brought Diab and accepted him and some even stepped aside before they started barking again in order to buy time and calm the street.

The biggest saboteur is Nabih Berri!

To be honest since Diab gov formation FPM always stood with the gov and did their best to make it succeed; But Berri and Frangieh are acting as a Trojan horse inside this gov.

It started with nominating Mortada as a minister; preventing capital control/hair cut ; and it will not end with preventing Diab gov from working by dismissing the parliament session.

There is also Frangieh's role in protecting corrupt state employee ; and his blockage of nominating key positions in BDL ...

do you honestly think with Hariri and Frangieh in power, anything can be resolved. They are as guilty as Hariri and Joumblatt. All Part of the same cancer eating this country since 1992. If these four are not despised off and thrown in jail to rot, nothing will happen. But unfortunately, the Shiites and HA won’t allow it, the Sunnites won’t allow it and the Druze won’t allow it. That why I think sometimes @shadow1 is right. The country is doomed but it’s residents somehow deserve what they’re getting. They keep voting this same filth on and on and on

I have a feeling Bukhari visited Saad to deliver a message asking him to step aside. Otherwise, he should have visited Bahaa or summoned him and asked him to stay away. That's how I see it. :p

What a shame. Our former PM was nothing more than a Saudi appointed governor or commissioner. Saad is not missed. Nothing has changed in his ways. Still the old way of submission.
