I neither harrassed nor bullied you, you decided to abuse your mod powers and delete my post in order to win an argument and my backlash against you was well warranted and deserved in my opinion.

The fact you're still lying about it to this day is shameful to say the least.

I'm pretty sure your posts got deleted because they contained cuss words and profanities that you do not consider as "insults".

This whole situation is a big, ****ing shame.

I'm a newcomer here. Take it from me - this community is brimming with good, intelligent people who care enough about Lebanon to keep posting about it on a forum for years. Great people on all sides. How ridiculous is it that the breakdown in communication has become so bad that a community that should, on paper, be a prime example of responsible political debate and disagreement so easily devolves into mteris w khtoot tames?

I used to believe the usual suspects here are nothing but trolls. I was wrong. Trolls do not put this much effort over such a long period of time. The "trolls" are a minority that is being bullied and persecuted. Their reaction to this is understandable, but not better: siege mentality, and subjecting people "from the other side" to the same labeling and bullying they themselves are the victim of. Well, guess what? Those same people are also victims of bullying. Do you know why?

Because as people who believe in this country, each in our own way, we are all victims. We follow the news. We argue. We look for hope. We fight for the future we want for ourselves and for our compatriots. We struggle like hell - on the physical level, psychological level or both. In return, all we get is doom, and gloom, and pain. Worst of all, a lot of that pain is inflicted on us from people who are exactly the same as us, but on the other side.

Do not misunderstand. This isn't some stupid rant about how Lebanese are all "the same", and "divided by politics". **** that bullshit. We are not. But the people on this forum are. And we are a minority - because we care so much, and we can articulate it.

I am an FPM supporter. 3a ras el sat7. @Resign, right now, sits on the far end of the political spectrum. We can attack each other with all we got when it comes to politics, within the rules of minimum respect. Does that mean we can't exit that area later and agree on mutual love for a movie? Does that mean I shouldn't stand up for him when he gets misunderstood and attacked, and he shouldn't ask how I'm doing when the country goes to hell? Does it mean I can't tell him off when he's being a bit of a **** without demonizing him? In real life, this is just idealistic crap, but shouldn't this forum be the perfect place for that? A place where conversations are sorted and separated, and people can't shout over each other or lose control? A place to remind us all that we're human, first and foremost, and that we're more alike than we are different?

I'm not even going to reread what I wrote before posting, or I'll probably delete half of it. Maybe it's all just stupid. Maybe it doesn't make any sense. Hell, maybe I'm completely off the mark, and people who have known this place for years know better and disagree with me. But I really do believe we should be able to do better, for the sake of communication and for the sake of this community.

Cheers.
@mrsrx, tala3lak a post that's not "wrapped in velvet" menne. Mni7 hek? :p
And yeah, I'm pretty pissed @The_FPMer felt he needed to withdraw.

Oroom's consensus candidate for tough times. Our very own "Saeb Salam."

Yea and Why wouldn't you vote FPMer?

I understand that aoune can stand out as a bit controversial but Isabella is worse....

To be honest i do not see any reason for anyone not voting @StopWorryingLoveTheBomb and @The_FPMer

So we have a common ground. We agree on the FPMer and SWLTB for whom I gave my vote. And we agree on Aoune32! though "controversial" is a bit diplomatic to use, a deceitful would-be oppressor, I'd say. But we disagree on Isabella.

From what I remember, you and I only disagreed on Isabella from the beginning. I urge you, from a friendly position, to reconsider your judgement.

Dude
There's nothing to reconsider
My presence bothers her

I have nothing against her apart from the fact that she's a hateful person
I'm not losing any sleep over it

If she wants to shake my hand and get off my back and stop mocking every post i make
Then she's free to remove her ignore from my name and come forward

Lak if i agree with someone against her opinion she goes nuts
She has serious problems dude lol...

It puts a tear to my eye seeing the results

Almost 50% of the total votes went to new blood
New blood who were bullied and accused of all sort of things
This reflects the situation in the country
The national opinion spoke it's mind on the Orange room

People who were accused of being LFers and Anti Fpmers got half of the votes on the OROOM!
The math is wrong from a technical perspective...voting 4/6 so 1 person having 50% does not mean 50% of the votes.:)

So you call @Indie "the worst moderator" and @Aoune32! "would-be oppressor", but you're willing to vote for people like Isabella, a self-admitted failure of a moderator, and Apostate, who recently gave us a plenty of reasons not to vote for him.

You don't sound like someone who judges people based on their qualifications.

One more time, please keep the discussions in this thread decent and civilized. The heated competition is healthy and fun, but when it turns to personal attacks it does not help. Many posts are being deleted. Please keep it fun.
Thanks.
