Very simple
Hariri should draft his formation
Announce it publicly then put it in front of Aoun to sign on it
if he doesn't sign then let him deal with the french and the public

This is happening tomorrow

Action packed week ahead, get ready

The public is not blind. If Hariri will present a one sided government lineup that represents the parliamentary minority and is in opposition to the parliamentary majority, from which it needs approval through a vote of confidence, then Hariri will bear the responsibility for acting crafty and not Aoun for refusing to sign for a charade.

Who determines if the government is one sided ? Otv and manar ?

Hariri will present a list of 18 non partisan independent individuals to the president
He’s going to corner him beautifully
Hariri should make their profiles and CVs public, Marcel Ghanem should do his magic too showing the world what the President obstructed

It’s going to be ta3yinet qada2iye all over again but on steroids
Stay tuned

Who determines if the govt is one sided? Quite simple. The president will determine because he has to sign based on the constitution and Taef for any new govt to be born. And also, the MPs or blocs because the government needs a majority of votes to get a vote of confidence in parliament. You are asking as if we do not have institutions and democratic frameworks and laws governing a government formation. It is not just what Hariri, part of the parliament minority feels like that he would impose on the country because he has received foreign directives to do certain things that will set the country on fire and he is too coward, unlike Basil, to oppose those directives and form a patriotic govt agreeable to all. His govt will need a vote of confidence in the Lebanese parliament and not in the American Congress. Do you understand that? And Hariri doesnt have the majority in parliament. He has been nominated again as a kind gesture because he has most votes in his own community. Nationally, he and his allies dont have the majority of votes and therefore no majority in parliament.

So both the president and parliament can obstruct Hariri or stop him or bring his govt down within hours.

In my view, if Hariri presents a stupid lineup, the president should accept. Let Hariri head to parliament for a vote of confidence and fail. In that way, the president will not single handedly face any backlash. Then Hariri becomes care taker PM. Within days or hours a new PM can be nominated and a new govt formed, if the parliamentary majority including FPM and Hezballah have the will for that. If the will is there, it is doable. Hariri will be out within hours from becoming care taker PM. There is nothing to be scared of anymore. Our economy is already bad. So no threats of American sanctions should make us think twice on forming a govt the way we like and want it to be in the interests of the country and not in the interests of your foreign masters and their directives and interests.

And if they choose war and they start bombing us, this time around the resistance should not start with Haifa and Safad. The first targets should and will be in Tel Aviv. There is already a new equation after 2006 SHN declared: Dahyeh against Tel Aviv. And the Gulf countries are the ones pushing the lunatic Netanyahu for war. The Gulf countries should be engulfed in the war too, if the enemy attacks us. They shouldnt act as spectators and be watching us fight it with the Zionists in a war they are instigating the enemy to start. They should take part in welcoming the rockets in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, if they are pushing for rockets to rain on Lebanon. Nothing short will deter them all.

Too Long, i read a little
You're saying that Hariri needs the vote of confidence
great...
That'll be a way to get rid of him

The president can sign and let him lose the confidence in Parliament
but he'll become caretaker and Diab departs to the dumpster
However the president will be able constitutionally to call for istisharet and get rid of Hariri for good

;)

Anyways, ensa parliament and confidence
the president will not sign and he'll face an uproar especially if the nominated ministers were advertised properly
I'm looking forward to Marcel Ghanem's episode this week.

Lol @ "too long, I read a little."
Its like that with everyone of his posts.

But in all honesty, Hariri is playing with fire. He let's all the Muslims choose their "specialists" but for Christians he wants to decide. This man is the worse PM lebanon has ever had. How can he let Berri HA jumblat and ofcourse his Mustapbal choose their ministers but he will not let aoun or FPM? This is what I am understanding from the media. I can't but respect the Presidents decision to reject the lineup.

Not sure why Hariri is playing this sectarian game of exclusion.

Hariri is not the only failure
They’re all failures

It’s just fun looking at them 3am b khawz2o b ba3don
Hariri is not stupid
He knows the president won’t sign
However he’s setting him (and Bassil) a nice sugarcoated trap
It’ll be very funny to watch

Shu sar ma3 el thawra? Didnt the thawra depose Hariri? Are we now supposed to follow the dictates of a paid pen like Marcel Ghanem?

It is time we become a sovereign state and do what is in our interest. Enough with the scumbags. Enough with bastard traitors who are paid to blackmail us get their way.

Hariri should leave. Hezballah and Mr Berri should wake up. Hariri's masters will not give money without preconditions.

It is time to do what is in the interest of the country. And if any treacherous cockroaches within dont like the idea of standing up and acting as a sovereign country, we must go after them.

We should leave the west and stop begging them to lick their @$$3$. We should turn to China immediately with a patriotic government headed by a patriotic PM, and not a sellout, who follows foreign dictates. Enough with being lowlifes. Act as a country for once and follow what is in the economic interests of the citizens. If China wants to help us, ya 100 ahlan wa sahlan. When the western countries too feel like helping us without preconditions and blackmailing attitude, we will welcome them too. The economic problems we are facing are not because we have no options. They exist because we have consciously chosen to yield to the demands of foreign dictates and the blackmail of their internal agents. We cant continue struggling while we can improve our economy and put politics aside and say no to foreign blackmailers and their agents.

Well no shit he's not the only failure. But this task is about government formation and he is failing the country by playing this stupid game. It's not funny because livelihoods are being lost while he is "setting a trap" just to outdo gebran.

Ah i see the confusion
the difference between you and me, is that i have 0 confidence in the current crew to fix anything in the country, ZERO
Lebanese politics for me is like Bab al 7ara, i watch it to have a good laugh and kill time and mock the Lebanese people (mostly partisans) every time they opt-in shooting themselves in the foot.
I have no hope for Lebanon as long as Parliament is occupied by the usual failures, the usual suspects, so excuse my enthusiasm as i anticipate an action packed week while i stock up on pop corn and light beer.
