كشف رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع عن سلة من التدابير التي ستقترحها القوات.

ولفت جعجع في مؤتمر صحافي عقده في مقره في معراب، الى ان البند الاول في السلة هو الانتقال الى مرحلة التقشف وعصر النفقات، معتبرا أن "موازنة السنة يجب ان تخفض الى 22 الف مليار دولار".
واشار الى أن البند الثاني يعتمد على وضع دفتر شروط من قبل وزير الطاقة سيزار ابي خليل لاشراك القطاع الخاص في انتاج الكهرباء بعد الانتهاء من الموزنة.
واضاف: "البند الثالث يقوم على مكافحة التهرب الضريبي الذي يبلغ 50 بالمئة".
وتابع: "البند الرابع يقوم على ضبط وضع الجمارك والمعابر غير الشرعية. والبند الخامس يقوم على وقف التوظيف نهائيا في الدولة اللبنانية"؟

أشار وزير الاقتصادرائد خوريالى ان بعض التجار خالفوا ورفعوا الاسعر، وضبطنا في الايام الماضية من 30 الى 40 مخالفة واليوم ضبطنا 70 مخالفة، معتبلاا انه من الآن الى اسبوعين ستتزايد المخالفات.

وفي حديث تلفزيوني، أكد "أنني زرت مناطق ومحلات عدة كالاشرفية، مار الياس، سوليدير وطريق الجديدة وقمنا بمحاضر ضبط، مشيرا الى انه في اليومين المقبيلن سنضبت العملية وسأرسل المحاضر الى القضاء واطلب من القضاة البت بالقضية.

Isn't Lebanon a free economy meaning pricing is at the sole discretion of the grocer? Kif ya3ne they can't hike the prices up? If Everybody hikes up the prices, then it is price fixing but if a few do it should be their right no?

Free market does not mean no-regulation, although this is debated by some.
Some regulation is necessary, because the economy should not be run for the benefit of the few in power alone. Here lies the role of the state.

through out the last 30 years I have read and seen plenty of these statements.
there were also live propaganda shows on TV
I don't know how many still believe those things

my answer is NO.
you can't put taxes on people while you didn't at least started with your corruption fighting plan.
because as you progress with reducing corruption and money waste, you will discover that you have to put less taxes in order to finance the silsileh
I also don't believe that it needs years to start getting results.

They are not parachuted into the gov, they were there for at least 10 years and they made books, articles and speeches about corruption. so they know where to start and what are the subjects that give quick results in order to gain the trust of the public.

There is an easier way. It's the obvious thing a corruption fighting modern reformist block should try to force... making cuts on the salaries of the political class, even the dead of them.

I find it amusing that Aoun and his gang are still shocking you till now.
