But according to our anti-semitic members, Jews are completely foreign colonizers, so how can a Lebanese girl score 42.6 Jewish on a DNA test?

many jews belong to haplogroup U1b , i have U1a .. so i suppose there must be a sort of true connection ...

23andme are not accurate with the labels.

Weird for a communist to put his trust in private corporations and share with them data about his DNA.
i made it out of curiosity..i like those stuff..hence i dont built a lot on the result .. lets say just for fun

The tests Tell you which part of the world your ancestors were from... I did one, and now I know both my maternal and paternal haplogroup :) so I share ancestry with people who have the same haplogroups! Massalan, I share DNA with one of the first American presidents! The rest is much less extraordinary ...
well i share DNA non less than wis Ramsees II

Paternal Haplogroup
What do you and Ramesses III have in common? An ancient common ancestor on your paternal line.

That's not a very good reason, the thing I like about genetics is the ability to know when, how and why your ancestors came to Lebanon. You can use Y-DNA haplogroups for a good insight on that too ^ All Lebanese sects (except Druze) have J2 (J-M172) as the most frequent haplogroup for example. @Ice Tea

me U1a and E-L485 .. what u do conclude from my result ?

i know that Adolf hitler haplogroup is "E" too :D

@SAVO My results are somewhat close to you (as a Leb Druze). But different haplogroups. I'm J2a1a and G-FGC12126.

ur druse from which town ?

im counted as shia as for registers.

I'm Druze from Aley province. My ancestors were the rulers of Jabal El Druze in Syria before the Torshan. My family is not one of the standard old Lebanese Druze families like Maan and Abu Shakra. But genetically close.

Most Leb Druze seem to be descendants of Mountaineers (Armenian / Turkish / Iranian) from the region around Turkey / Anatolia / Georgia.

Even Arslan a very early Leb Druze family in old Kesrwan has a Turkish name. And it's Turkish counterpart in modern-day Turkey.

And 20% of the Druze are pure Old Armenian. While the rest range between Armenians to standard Lebanese.

1573979715279.png

Many Maronite and Shiah families were initially Druze. In the Ottoman days, Lebanon was called "Durzia". Before the fall of Druze political leadership.

So while current Druze kept their genetic snapshot, other sects might have been Druze as well, which explains why Maronites and Druze score very similar results but claim very different origins.
