Turks need to organize another coup, thats the only way they rid themselves of erdogan. He will win this election for sure, and the Turkish economy will continue to suffer. Arabs need to boycott Erdogan's Turkey IMO. Let them continue to get closer to iran until they both fall.
The economy has become a major issue in Turkish elections scheduled for Sunday thanks to inflation that's running at 12%, and a currency that has dropped to a record low against the US dollar.
Erdogan, who says he wants greater control over the economy, has made matters worse by suggesting he wants to control interest rates. Foreign investors, who fear a loss of independence at the central bank, have taken flight.
"The economy is terrible. It's over. Everyone except for [Erdogan] and his sultanate is suffering," Nusret Barak, a retiree, told CNN in Istanbul. "There is nothing at our breakfast table anymore ... I have less cheese, I have less bread, I have fewer olives."

The Turkish lira jumped more than 5 percent on the Central Bank of Turkey's decision to raise interest rates to 24 percent.
The last few months have seen a massive sell-off in Turkish assets thanks to investor fears over the central bank's independence and a political spat between President Recep Erdogan and Washington.
The lira has fallen some 40 percent in value against the dollar since the year's start, prompting fears of contagion amid a wider emerging markets
