Okay but you are logical and intelligent not like Sadek
The question how did 700,000 got prisoners in Kiev
Why they did not fight to the death like other cities
Why they did not retreat I presume the orders were to resist
700,000 fighters fighting 1 million Germans inside Kiev
Meaning another Stalingrad or Leningrad if there was a will to fight
Anyway let’s agree to disagree on this matter

You also should know that when Red Army was retreating in 1941 they blew up one or several river Dnepr electric dams to prevent it falling into advancing Germans's hands - as a result hundreds of thousands of civilians have drowned.

If you think this inspires much love for Stalin, then you are mistaking.

PS. After so many atrocities committed by Soviet government against its own people it is no wonder that Germans (nobody knew what Nazis are then) were seen by many as liberators.

Yes, but not initially - many and especially parts of Soviet Union occupied in 1939-1940 saw Germans as liberators, that is until they've learned what Nazis really represent.

That is one of the main reasons why in the beginning of the war great many soldiers in Red Army preferred capture by Germans to fighting for Stalin.

Situation has changed in few months though.

I still believe if it weren't for Nazi atrocities Hitler could've succeeded winning the war against Russia for Hitler is the one who eventually truly turned that war into "Great Patriotic", Hitler and Soviet propaganda machine.

"NATO is not going to war with a nuclear-armed Russia over the #KerchStrait. That is not military-strategic reality, no matter what armchair generals on Twitter may be telling"

There is more than one way to skin a cat - sanctions are working just fine and sanctions are much safer and surer way than NATO.
This is war time
Sanctions on Russia not affecting positive growth only slowing it unless Europe will stop buying energy

Russia cannot afford to stop selling and Europe will continue buying from Russia until all alternatives are in place, which are promptly materializing - the latest development: Cyprus, Greece and Italy to buy gas from Israel, gas is to be delivered via pipeline.
