veganism and what people think of it

Hello everyone I brought this subject because I'm living this situation now in my life while I'm having a transition from eating meat to vegetarian and fighting my way in veganism and the pile of crap that i have to hear and bear every day, everywhere about it. Well I couldn't just turn a blind eye on the unnecessary sufferings of the animals, every second they are suffering so we can enjoy our open Buffalo wings with beer on Thursday and the Sundays BBQ While other people think its meaningless since god gave us the right to kill, rape, torn families away just so we can EAT!! Well let me tell you something you're eating stress meat since they are tortured before being slaughtered and when it comes to you dairies and milk its also full of stress and bad energy plus sadness since she's so stressed to be separated from her calves, that's heartbreaking and as a human being how can I cause all this suffering in order to eat while i have all the other healthy and peaceful alternatives

I agree with you 100%. It breaks my heart when i see animals being abused and slaughtered for our own selfish wants. It can't be right.

I hope i can, one day, overcome my old habits and make the transition to veganism.

Veganism is more of a mental breakdown than anything else

Its religious in nature

And based on tenets of original sin

Lives in a land of delusion

Sold with a good dose to ppl with low self esteem

And finally bestowed with divine virtue signalling

Stuff dont get more religious than this

This is from a guy who doesnt like meat

Who was vegitarian

Who sees many valid points in being against the meat industry & for health issues

But who isnt fond of religious fanatism

Eat what u want

Its your body

But dont preach is what i tell all vegan missionaries

So what you are saying is that you have issues with anything that isn't a big hairy man eating a steak carrying a pint of beer and watching porn

So, you acknowledge the ethical reasons why someone would elect to go vegan. Rest is just drivel. :)

I don't understand why people care what other people enjoy eating! As a pregnant woman who currently hates burgers, pizzas, fish, fried chicken and everything meaty but absolutely loves pickles and lemons, let the people eat what they want! If it saves an incredibly cute pig in the process then so be it!

Plz read again wat u wrote and the last few lines of @Red Phoenix 's post.

The debate here is not abt eat watever u want, it's about the prozelitysm that ensues!

Red phoenix has deeply rooted issues with nearly everything, veganism is just another chapter of yay I get to rant endlessly about a random subject!

I was a vegetarian for many years. For the same reason as you. I did not want to support an industry that mistreats animals. Just make sure you do it the healthy way, and get enough nutrients from elsewhere.

Its a load of garbage, nothing makes me happier than bbqing a freshly guted animal right in front of me, leaving a bit of blood in there even makes it tastier not to mention that meat is essential for muscle gains.

You preach all the time :) in fact you are preaching now :)

Vegans are ok so long they don't preach. They have valid points and I can respect that they make their sacrifice based on their principles.

You're also ok so long you don't preach :)

Habibeh toi. Une vraie championne des droits des animaux. Wish only people like you would get pregnant.

We, meat-eaters, should gradually go extinct.

At least be thankful to the cow who had to die so you can flex your little butt muscles in the mirror. #3ohor_carnivoreh

Yeah I'm not too fond of whatever this is!

1. I do eat meat, I'm not now, never have been a vegetarian - let alone vegan lol!

2. The vegan argument is actually perfectly sound and reasonable, not only for the sake of animals but also human beings and the entire planet! Vegans are doing more for the environment and the human race than all other human beings combined, unfortunately they're like 1-2% of humanity and have little to no impact so we gotta live with the greenhouse gasses the cows are emmitting!

3. My aversion to everything fatty and fish has nothing to do with whether I like meat or not, that was mentioned in passing in response to a silly little remark about kale that apparently causes rage in our friend iron maiden

4. People who say habibeh toi should indeed go extinct, them eating meat is irrelevant!

Hey the "habibeh toi" was actually meant for someone else. I sort of misquoted you.

Sorry if I unwittingly made you feel more important or special than you really are :)

Funny. The "it's your body" argument is only used by the Right-Wing Christians when it suits them.
