In schools and hospitals, Turkey carves north Syria role | Reuters

So, Turks are setting up their backyard in Idlib, and even pseudo-schools which will be recognized in their country. I imagine -as they moved Evolution Theory at universitarian level, there in Turkey- what kind of schools these will be...

    Extracts:

Turkish lessons, Turkish signposts, Turkish-trained police and most recently a Turkish post office all point to Turkey’s deepening role in an area of northern Syria it captured from Islamic State (IS) with the help of Syrian rebels. Turkish administrators are even helping to run hospitals in the area

Turkish authorities had given assurances that qualifications from schools in the area would “be recognised in Turkey and students can apply to Turkish universities”, he said

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, in a speech last weekend, said: “We don’t have a wish to occupy these lands but we want the rightful owners to go back there.”

The Syrian opposition’s efforts to establish their own “interim government” in the Euphrates Shield area received a big boost this week when a Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebel group handed it control of a border crossing to Turkey.

Turkish support for Syrian security forces has included training police officers who began deploying in the region in January. Abdel Razzak al-Laz, the head of the “National Police and General Security Forces”, said 7,000 have now been deployed.

SO. Turks moved in Idlib boldly. For sure with Russia avail.
Tensions between Kurds and Iraqi Army.
Trump decides officially to revoke the Iranian nuclear deal.

Are these events linked? How will Washington's moves be? Will Turkey act as a Nato member or as a geopolitical thrall of russia, as the events following the downing of the first jet determined? Why is it advantageous to pursue the cancellation of the nuclear deal, when the main objectives of the Syrian war have been missed by Washington, and Iran will gain more influence in the region?

Trump didn't revoke nuclear deal FYI. He wants Congress to add conditions to the deal -- unilaterally -- that Iran will surely not agree with and therefore decide to withdraw on their own.

Indeed he didnt revoke it, but let's look a bit ahead. He WANTS to revoke it, and will revoke it. This is just a political smoke curtain to leave the hot potato in the hands of iranians. Of course he cannot come out saying "the deal is broken unilaterally by USA", cause he would draw criticisms by internal and external opponents.

Clearly the aim of the new administration is to reverse the policies of Obama's government, you can see it from how kurds situation is treated. So it is reasonable to think that the US administration is determined in it.

Indeed, the only policy initiatives of Trump thus far have been to undo anything Obama has done.
