You isis terrorist ...you deserve every bit you get and if Assad provides it , it serves you well.
See what I mean, you’re stuck in medieval binary thinking (which is common among Arabs): “derp isis terrorist derp!”

Expand your horizons, man!

The only people stuck in the dark ages are the arabs especially the Sunnis. No Sunni democracy anywhere in the world. Just dum sheep.
Bashar is not your problem..Syria was one of the better Arab countries.. You can only be ruled by a dictator.

Since when does Western democracy = advancement? Dubai and the Gulf for example are not western democracies, but that doesn’t stop hundreds of thousands of Christians and Westerners from working in those countries.

And yes, Mr. ASSad is a problem. His only concern is him and his family retaining power. He fills up the upper echelons of government exclusively with Alwaites, while everyone else starves. Just another failed Arab socialist dictator in my book.

You must have spent 24 hours scratching your head to find a democracy. 100s of millions of Sunnis couldn't speak their mind and elect a ruler democratically. There are more Sunni rich families in Syria than Dubai. Dubai is ruled. By a prince with multiple wives and 10s of golden palaces. He's a good egg and allows people to live work and play. He can turn and execute people tomorrow. Most of foreigners leave as they see this country as a platform to go somewhere else. Yet all syrians prefer to go to the U S and then Europe. None begged to go to Dubai. The gulf sees them as pests. Bajjam . Why doesn't KSA or Dubai give you billions and land to live there ? Because they hate you more than the Assad. Ungrateful people. Just like the Palestinians. That's why Israel will remain forever.your leaders made peace with them. They need security.

Not really, as I’m not even a proponent of a Western democracy.

Yeah, like any real guy wouldn’t want to have multiple beautiful wives.

Syria isn’t and never was an international hub for business like Dubai is. You can find anyone from the world working or living in Dubai, despite it being ruled my princes. It has a system in place where people from all faiths and ethnicities can live and work in harmony.

He's a good egg and allows people to live work and play. He can turn and execute people tomorrow.
Well, if he wants to turn into Mr. ASSad, that’s his choice. His country will obviously feel the negative repercussions of taking such actions.

Give me a break; you want to make it seem like ASSad and his militias aren’t getting rid of the “undesirable” Syrian population, and making sure Alawites and other hardcore supporters of his government keep the influential posts.

If Europe was smart, they wouldn’t be taking them in (they’re starting not to), but that’s another story. Neither Trump is taking them in, and even Turkey is starting to get annoyed. Why should other countries pay all that money and free land because ASSad would prefer to keep them out?

And as far as I’m concerned, Israel is better than the pencil-necked, socialist dictator in Syria. The Gulf may not be perfect, but they’re in much better shape than ASSad and his buddies.

There is no Western democracy. Its just democracy. Terrorists do'nt get that. Multiple women is part of your polygamy misogynist religion. I hope all you sisters enjoy that life style and embrace it.

They have oil. Not for long. The US will figure a way to get. People work there but without them , locals have no idea on how to run their country. Its like a stepping stone for third world countries and a cash cow for western countries.

He s doing it without your approval because you are sheep and accept it.

Not true. The educated/civilised Sunnis are part of the new Syria. The bajjam are out.

I know. Israel will remain forever. Khay, the Sunnis will sell it again even if by 0 chance HA free it.

Hello guys, just a friendly reminder that I, as many other readers, come among these pages to get more information about syrian war, and your comments that are mostly meaningful.

So, I'd like to see you arguing about strategies, militaries and such stuff, instead of having to read hundreds of meaningless bulls**t over democracy, west, what is the true islam (lower case), God and other tens of subjects you guys clearly know anything about.

Therefore, please, step away from this hysteric sectarian theological quicksand, go back talking about syrian military situation or relocate to your own thread where you can claim the superiority of you own system and say how crap the others are. Thank you and have a nice day.

    First - welcome.
Second - start this thread from first page and you'll find a lot of interesting stuff (well, you'll find a lot of BS too, but skip it when you do).

We've been drowning a bit with the whole COVID-19 situation. We'll be on it soon.

In the meantime, anyone who goes off topic (that is, following and discussing the war in Syria) will be threadbanned with no further warning. Cheers!
