This is part 2 of the poll. Now covering non-Christian parties.

Please vote for your political leanings for Lebanese non-Christian parties, regardless whether you consider yourself a party member, a party supporter, or an independent. You can vote for multiple options and you can vote based on whether you lean towards a party or against it. All votes are private. I am hoping this gives us a view on the makeup of this forum.

...
Edit:
Check part 1 here: What is are your political leanings?

By this same logic FPM is a non christian party too.
I disagree with you. Although FPM started secular, it did evolve into a Christian party later.
Its main mission is to bring Christians back into power.

SSNP is very much a secular party. Its ideology is pan-Syrianism.
But I wouldn't call it a Leftist party either.
They are viewed as Leftists because they allied with the Left during the civil war.

Ssnp is a secular party who only nominate and has a chance of winning a seat in christian and specifically orhodoc streat.
For me its the same. Either both are secular ot both not .

This is not true at all.

Here's a list of famous SSNP politicians.
I think it's the most religiously diverse party in Lebanon.

I feel my ideals best align with those of the SSNP party.
But, since I don't necessarily agree with their methods, I voted "independent, pro-SSNP" which translates to "pro-SSNP ma3 ta7affuz"

In theory, I think Syrian nationalism is a great idea, and the best answer to the region's multi-religious makeup.
However, the party's leadership has committed serious gaffes on ground.

Like they could have hit Bachir with a sniper rifle without killing innocent civilians in the process.
Why did they have to resort to terrorism?

@Jo this is the "anti" crew here :)
I think you need a focused strategy for more diversity in the forum. And some soul searching on the reasons for the lack of natural diversity.

Where are the pro HA, FM, Amal, PSP?

Ssnp is considered as extreme right it is social nationalist party. It is a copy from Nazi party. Zawba3a is not than the swastika. Put the sawstika cross and join every one the 4 tops of the cross to the center. Nazism was socialist (leftist ideas) and nationalist right wing principles. Wikipedia rank the nazism as extreme droite. So SSNP is extreme droite.

@joseph_lubnan We should rename this thead to "What party do you hate the most?" judging by the results.

    Most hated so far:
    1-Amal
    2-SSNP
    3-Communists
    4-Hizbullah
5-FM, PSP, M8 Sunnis and Druze

A few years ago, I'm sure FM would have ranked first but the results reflect the current bromance between Aoun and Saad Hariri.

True as far as the leadership is concerned. But everything changes the moment it turns into a popularity contest. If you notice even with those names the majority are either christians or druze . 18 christians , 5 druzes , 3 sunnites and 1 chi3ite. And its actually a perfect example of their reality on the ground.

I can almost do the same with FPM ( almost ) .

Further underscores my view that this continues to be very much an "orange" room :)

    2 pro-FM
    3 pro-HA
    1 pro-Amal
    1 pro-PSP

all in all 7 pro all these parties combined! We really need more diversity here.

On the other hand SSNP is way over represented :)

@Jo I hope you have concrete evidence that you should start a diversity program for this forum :)
